Huh. I wasn’t planning on refunding it, but when I looked, it said none of my WoW purchases were eligible for a refund. Is there a specific link?
Pretty sure you have to put in a ticket to ask for a refund. Should be an option under Billing/Payment when you’re in the Support window.
Refunds only matter if you never play again. If you refund then buy it again in a month it means nothing but throwing a tantrum
Oh, I don’t plan to refund. Unlike most people, I understand I will play Shadowlands, whether it comes out in October or December. I was mostly curious cause someone posted they refunded instantly in this thread. Seemed suspect.
OF course they are offering refunds.
The customer is always right.

Wouldn’t be a bad idea. Give those people that stick with the pre-order a bone.
Not for everyone. I have a few friends who returned it last night. I know at least one that is probably coming back, but is going to use that money on cyberpunk instead for now. Will probably push his purchase of shadowlands back for a bit. Money isn’t the issue for him, but he keeps a tight budget on his gaming purchases.
I’m not getting a refund, I have been on beta and enjoying the game play. Haven’t done any end game stuff, just questing and getting my copied 120 to 60.
I might consider getting a refund, as someone who started on BfA I have a lot to do on older expansions (especially with Chromie time travel thing), skipping an expansion to build my alt army, farm old reps, loremaster and some gold doesn’t seem like a bad idea.
I don’t see a point in asking for a refund, they said 2020… and we have last I checked three more months to go. Insofar as it’s delivered before December 31st at 23:59:59PST I don’t see an issue.
This is the real question. Everyone is happy about the delays… But will Blizzard actually make effective use of that extra time?
No one knows. Based on the Blizzard i’ve come to know over a decade+, I won’t believe it until I see it.
I’ve been burned too many times after getting my hopes up. Im still completely jaded.
Same here. Better late and complete than early and broken.
Who cares if these people get refunds they are just going to buy it again in the future.
I don’t want a refund, I want a 12’ golden statue of myself erected in front of Blizzard’s HQ. MAKE IT HAPPEN BLIZZARD!
Haven’t checked myself yet but I had read that Blizzard has sent e-mails to all who pre-purchased with the refund offer.
But we don’t know that it will in fact be released in 2020. John Hight also said “come hell or high water Shadowlands will be released on time” during that livestream a few months back, only to have to eat those words now.
Yeah, before I would have if I could have. Now? I am willing to stick it out to see what they do with this time.
Hmm, is that why ATVI is -2% in pre-market?
Just kidding. lol
First of all i do not plan on asking for a refund. I dont participate in alot of the end game stuff…well most of it i guess. I am glad they delayed it to fix some of the quest issues ive read about.
i got an email. i looked right after i read this just to see (way to curious).
below here is what it said… i did not c/p the whole thing btw
During this additional time, we’ll be focusing on further polishing the overall experience, as well as fine-tuning and balancing aspects of the endgame—helping ensure what’s waiting for you on your journey into the Shadowlands meets our high standards and your high expectations. We think you’ll enjoy this expansion even more as a result of the extra work, but we understand if you’re disappointed by the wait—if you’d prefer a refund*, please visit our Customer Support site.
To be honest, the people refunding probably weren’t planning on staying long anyways, if the reason for them refunding is due to it being delayed.
And everyone should be completely supportive of the decision to hold off in order to fix issues, instead of being angry with any of them for not releasing a broken game.
