Blizz, Hong Kong, Freedom of speech, lets have an Adult discussion

Ignoring that for now, because that’s too adult of a subject for you, People from Hong Kong can also murder people in mainland China without repercussion, correct?

For bonus points, name another country that doesn’t have an extradition measure with itself.

I don’t understand how consequences for actions (failing to abide by a signed contract and employees encouraging him to break the contract) fall under anything other than personal accountability.

Had this happened in the US it would have been they deserved it for breaking the TOS, the contract, whatever. So I don’t understand the hypocrisy either.

Agreed here man. Hong Kong story is fine, I love democracy, but at the root of it they are rioting over extradition laws to a country they have technically been a part of for some time.

I hate China for other reasons…lol. See my above post.

I mean, ignore your insulting opinion of Taiwan if you want, I certainly won’t. No point discussing anything with someone taking the side of totalitarian murderers.

A country that none of them want to be a part of and are terrified of with good reason.

The HK protestors are very much like the characters in “The Handmaid’s Tale”. They were born in a free country and are watching that free country slowly turn into a totalitarian state. How anyone could not sympathise with them is very difficult to understand.

“Since you cant resist China’s influence entirely, don’t bother doing it at all”

Noice

Speaking of totalitarian murderers, how many people died during these recent protests?

Guessing when they were under UK rule, they had the freedom to vote and nobody died during those protests?

Stop trying to throw rudimentary “gotcha” things out like talking about Na-zism as if you understand the difference between democracy and facism. Its very obvious you need to educate yourself on what real freedom is and the slippery slope you are on.

Until you educate yourself, I’m done responding to you.

Enjoy your slacktivism, see ya in a couple weeks

Sad to see so many people on these forums getting upset about this. Both the people wanting to quit about it and the people that don’t care so much they post in all the threads to let you know.

I feel the worst for the “you aren’t changing anything crowd”. The challenge of getting up everyday thinking nothing you do makes a difference in anything must be overbearing. At least you get to project all your feelings on these virtue signaling try hards. Amirite?

Rules are not meant to be broken. Glad they didn’t give in just because of who broke them.

I support your decision 100%!

“Don’t come at me with facts. I want emotion! There’s nothing that a human being could possibly say to change my mind, which makes me an open-minded and free-thinking individual.”

Had to turn it into a China/HK thing, huh?

Geez, people, just leave if that’s what you are going to do.

Stop trying to turn it into a political statement.

Also: Blizzard did nothing wrong here. They followed the rules they had in place. Sorry, if you can’t grasp that concept.

They absolutely did. Following the rules has been a convenient excuse for similar evils done throughout history.

I don’t think they should be shouldering the sole blame here, but saying they did nothing wrong is simply untrue.

When you purchase an Item like your phone lets say a Iphone.
The money goes to the store you bought the phone at.
The store buys the phone from Apple.
Apple pays the Chinese company to pay the people that work there.
The Chinese company is owned by the government of China.
All companies world wide have all or any part of their company in China it is owned by the Chinese Government.
Nothing over there is owned privately like here in the US.
The Chinese Government gets a percentage of the profits from the companies.
If it says made in China some of your money goes to the Chinese government.
