Blizz, Hong Kong, Freedom of speech, lets have an Adult discussion

No, it is treason. They are promoting, giving aid and comfort to a foreign government that is our enemy, that seeks ruthless expansionism and to supplant the USA as the dominant superpower so they can rule the world with an iron fist, fulfilling Comrade Stalin’s wet dream. And they are doing all of it, for something as pitiful as money.

Giving aid and comfort to our enemies used to be punishable by death for a reason.

Again, because these remarks are hastily deleted, it is impossible to comply with your request.

However, test for yourself. Make any post supporting the present administration (for example) and see how long it lasts on any of these sites.

Donnor, go back to bed sleepy gnome.

Traitorous. Treason is a crime specifically defined in the US constitution in an unfortunately overly narrow way that makes treason a crime that is very difficult to even commit. Traitorous is a word that can fit with the point you are trying to make.

Those employees IN China would be unemployed. It could very well lead to layoff in the US considering Blizzards awful decision to invest in China to begin with.

I can’t wait for the Military Tribunal. U.S. versus Blizzard. For treason.

Sigh, You dont even have any examples to give do you?

he US, the corporate media and FB twitter and IG censor people every day right here in the USA. For nothing more innocuous than expressing a political view that deviates from the mass media’s agenda.

What does Corporate media, FB, Twitter and IG have anything to with blizzard. Give me those examples, pronto.

Who was censored on any of those sites. Surely you have a name to give me. Surely its someone of some noteriety.

Acting in accordance with the agenda of a foreign power to silence people opposing them.

So their singular office in Shanghai? I’d say it’s worth it to avoid having to silence a person speaking out against a foreign government in order to appease said government…

You are aware that working in accordance with a foreign enemy power in order to spread their message, or in this case, undermine the message against them is… Traitorous?

Still worth it to avoid being traitors to the nations making up 50% of their profit margins.

That would be highly amusing, I must admit. I still think we should skip the Senators, and go straight to the Oval Office. Flood Trump’s Twitter with calls for him to intervene to protect the USA from China.

Are we at War with China? Treason is a very strong Accusation for a Gaming company. What proof do you have that supports Blizzard having committed treason? Blizz just ban a dude for a TOS violation for bringing politics in.

Rofl XD That sounds mob mentality-esque xD “Omg I can’t delete my account Blizz won’t let me!” stupid inane assumptions.

I read half 3.5k
the rest just seems to still not understand the position that is 2019

I’m not even sure i understand what u mean lol

What was? Blizzard’s actions taken to defend their property or is it the morality of not letting someone get away with making a political statement that would affect their business? It’s their decision to take action however they deem necessary for the good of the business. Whether it be soothing relations with a government with a record that’s not what one might call exemplary in regards to many issues, or whether it’s simply a matter of making a statement to everyone regarding their stance on disallowing their property to be used in a way they find detrimental to their company. It doesn’t matter. It’s their business, it’s their choice to enforce their ToS within the guidelines it provides.

“Whoever, owing allegiance to the United States, levies war against them or adheres to their enemies, giving them aid and comfort within the United States or elsewhere, is guilty of treason and shall suffer death, or shall be imprisoned not less than five years and fined under this title but not less than $10,000; and shall be incapable of holding any office under the United States.”

Teeny weeny bit of a stretch, methinks.

By my definition, yes. Sadly, not by our military. The Chinese have been waging economic warfare against us for decades, and pumping our shelves full of toxic “goods” that are either cheap or literally poisonous. Of course, that second part could just be incompetence, but I wouldn’t put it past a nation as evil as China.

I mean… I’m not the biggest fan of the guy, and even I know this is a silly statement.

This is like Indiana Jones to stop liking snakes.

funny enough we as the US do so much marketing with China lmao. I always laugh that tiny American flags have a “made in china” label

It is ironically funny, yes.

blizzard acted correctly

You’re breaking those same rules right now.

A rule that says “we can ban you for any reason” is not a rule. Nor is it automatically correct to follow those rules.

Stop boot licking please. Seriously.

Would you be okay with Blizzard banning you for what you’re posting now?
