Blizz, Hong Kong, Freedom of speech, lets have an Adult discussion

oh yea and it goes really deep. And if you say something or stand up for yourself or what is right, they can essentially block you, and then your company is doomed, all those people you employed are jobless. Its not right at all, and unfortunately they are allowed to get stronger because of that. My husband lost his job to China contracts. Its just

Then I wrongly accused you and I apologize. My bad.

Or, more likely than both of those.

Blizzard has a rule -> player breaks said rule -> blizzard takes action against said player.

But sure, you can wear as big a tin foil hat and believe as many made up situations as you want.

It’s pretty amusing you think most Americans have the attention span to care about this for more than a few days.

I doubt anything of significance will happen at Blizzcon aside from a few dudes who ask awkward questions and make everyone in the room uncomfortable.

Everyone should just wear Pro HK T-Shirts/Badges/Hats/Pins for Blizzcon.

Don’t do the whole picket signs and screaming protest. Don’t try to ambush employees with questions they don’t have answers too.

Be polite and show dignity and respect for the cause.

Comrade,
You need to be more careful in your shill posting. When you make it too obvious then people start to catch on. Regardless, your efforts have been rewarded with 150 social credit points deposited evenly among your family.
Praise glorious leader Xi Jingping who does not look like Winnie the Pooh.

No, because that’s actual effort and a quick 30 seconds to bandwagon on the forums is far easier.

Ah yes, more deflection from someone who wants to hold on to conspiracy theories. Enjoy.

It’s not really a conspiracy theory, the censorship and alarming amount of sway over corporations The Chinese Government have is a real issue.

One even recognized by politicians as something Americans should be wary of.

If you choose to protest with in the convention center, yes. There’s a right way to protest and there’s a wrong way. Trying to sneak into an event to protest is the wrong way. Trying to hijack an interview to spread your political message is the wrong way.

While completely forgetting that Freedom of Speech does not apply in private spaces, thereby demonstrating their ignorance of the Constitution and it’s Amendments at the same time they are demonstrating their ignorance at thinking protesting Blizzard for enforcing their own tournament rules is somehow more effective than pressuring their representatives in the government.

Until the person in question can give more of an argument than a bunch of hypotheticals, I’ll just go with conspiracy theories.

So… Just to be clear…saying “I love China” is not a political statement. You are not even comparing apples to apples here in your hypothetical.

Do you think a US person would get banned for wearing a MAGA hat and saying “Send them home!”.?

Now that is an actually apples to apples hypothetical.

Didn’t you accuse others of trolling?

You think you understand what free speech means, but you don’t. There is no freedom of speech in private spaces. But that’s ok, let’s not let facts get in the way of a good rant, right?

This is some doublespeak.

There is freedom of speech in private spaces. You can be asked to leave that private space but the powers that be are not gonna take your organs for speaking freely in private.

Sheesh!

Yeah, display apathy instead. Only losers have opinions on things, man. If you can’t literally achieve the ultimate end goal then you should actually do nothing. Otherwise the cool kids will make fun of you.

So are we are or are we not talking about him speaking on Blizzard’s cast?
