I also used to follow certain potential bills involving gun regulation/reproductive healthcare/lbgtq rights. But the past decade, more the latter half, has made me lose interest due to the political outcomes in those areas.

Except the US, that’s actually a funny fact. We take more Syrian refugees than we do American ones. When Trump was elected, the Americans actually crashed our immigration site.

It’s hard not to be in the know when you have massive shootings, unless you wanna deny those happened, and then made no changes to gun regulations afterwards. No significant changes, atleast.

As for the outcomes, that’s a matter of perspective. I don’t support the slow religious takeover of medical institutions or the elimination of safe abortion options. I don’t support placing religious freedoms above others.

Oh my Bob the blackface thing again? Your president spoke about grabbing kitties. Scheer the conservative candidate here, went to several anti abortion rallies and in past said he would end woman’s rights. Singh, NDP leader, had family with ties to terrorism.
Everyone has a past. He did something stupid 20 years ago, see how little Canadians cared? They elected him again. You can keep bringing it up, the groups who should have been offended here accepted his apology.
