I like the system of not having to deal with large medical costs at the time of illness or injury. Takes a lot of the pressure off.

I would agree, sort of. However, I would like to SOLVE the problem of large medical costs, regardless of the timing.
To give the illusion that you are in a democracy of course.
We pay in our high taxation, I’m not as stupid as you seem to think I am. We have some of the highest tax rates on the planet for our right to health care. I also still am working through my health issue, I will until I can’t anymore. I paid over 6k in taxes last year, and that’s a low year for me. So please carry on your rant.

Tolerance has always been a weak talking point.
We should never tolerate gun violence, corruption, people being abused by the medical system, or many other things.
Anyways, like I said, the past decade or so has been hilarious from an outsider perspective which might be why Canadians seem disrespectful.
That doesn’t mean I endorse being unkind, but I can see where it’s coming from.

Way to snip out the context. I wasnt trying to insult you, merely correct your claim of “you only pay.” Its fundamentally false. Mistakes happen, its fine. Doesnt mean I think you are mentally impaired, it means that claim was false. No more, no less.
By your comments you either are inferring I am, or you truly have no understanding of our health care system. Can’t blame you after the Obamacare debacle, but we have had this system in place for years. Feel free to actually research it. When you get a party in power that pushes for privatization of services, you start to alienate those who are in a lesser income bracket.

No. I pointed out a claim that was false. That’s it. You are the one trying to read some kind of personal attachment to it. There is none. You said something factually incorrect and I pointed it out. Thats it.
