Blizz, Hong Kong, Freedom of speech, lets have an Adult discussion

Just remember those words when many of the “protesters” end up not showing up or end up praising Blizzard after the games are revealed. Blizzcon will show peoples true colors and I am looking forward to seeing how many people end up doing a 180 on their opinions if its a good Blizzcon

Yep, finger pointing, misinformation, name calling all the new norms. I really hope Blizzard starts taking a stand more. This thread has brought me so much entertainment this weekend, but in itself it is truly against the ToS. I know they are keeping it live to allow people to vent though, just kind of goes back on the whole no politics in our games rule in itself.

After the Diablo Immortal fiasco, I would be worried if I was Blizzard and wouldn’t try and sell anything stupid to the fans.

Diablo Immortal should have been a side game not even announced at Blizzcon.

Eh, I don’t know about that. I am personally not going to touch Immortal, but I know piles that are looking forward to it. Blizzcon is there to hype their games, whether we like them or not.

Oh hell no. They know this is the year that may be the most important Blizzcon ever. I will be shocked if they show anything other then stellar. For me I am about 95% expecting WoW 9.0, WoW 8.3 release date, WC3R beta and release date, HS rework, Maybe a new IP, Diablo 4, Maybe Diablo 2 Remastered. Keep in mind to me if half this stuff comes out I will be very happy. If they mention anything mobile it will be quick and small like oh look you now have a Battle Pets mobile app or something similar. Wouldnt be surprised if they bring back Hots esports from the dead to get even more happiness.

Wonder if they will get a free concert in LA that no one attends much like the one in Vegas after the Area 51 debacle.

I was disgusted to see some groups asking for donations to get people to Blizzcon to protest, then I realized how smart they were. Let’s get people to donate for me to get a free trip to LA! Still, it’s nauseating at its core.

With the amount of evidence mounting showing we will be getting a very intense next expac that may even live up to Wotlk I will be shocked if it is anything else. Wording myself carefully to prevent spoilers and such

Yea I’m gonna be happy with a semi-interesting wow expansion announced and maybe a tease of D4 to keep those people happy after last year.
Anything else is a bonus.

Oh people are funneling into it like idiots because they think it will “help” the cause. People will do anything to make it feel like they are doing something. Even if that something ends up being nothing

Well Cata was mediocre, WoD sucked, BFA was mediocre, and every expansion inbetween has been decent so of course next expansion will be good.

Why would Blizzard issue a denial to a statement someone else made?

Im hoping for better then good. I want fantastic. I want to see them throw everything they have into this next expac and give it their all. If they need to delay it then delay it. They need to knock the next one out of the park

Because people expect Blizzard to attack China and usurp Xi apparently

That depresses me more than anything. Throwing money away for people to carry an umbrella and wave a sign. The more money than brains adage is so apt here. There are so many better causes that would help so many more people like I don’t know cancer or MS research.

Everyday I get more disgusted with humanity as a whole.

A lot of the Cata development went into revamping Azeroth and it’s quests I fear. Also having the 80-85 zones in different places really made it feel disjointed.
I enjoyed Mists, though I understand some people feeling it was too different to the normal warcraft story and aesthetic.
WoD was terrible. It had a lot of potential but then just had no patches.
I don’t hate BFA it’s just that it’s new features were all kinda a flop like Islands and warfronts so it didnt bring anything that new and exciting to the table.

Legion was great and the most fun I’d had since Wrath.

I got carried away with this post…

Dont worry. Just wait until EA announces they are for the consumer and are donating to x charity and everyone clambers around them and claims they are a company for the fans

That is my major fear of them doing another revamp. I just posted this in another thread, but I paid for months of this game during Cata just to get a horse and Diablo 3 for free. I didn’t play, I just kept the sub running for those two reasons. There was so little content in Cata, it pushed me into playing other MMOs at that time. Reality was, I paid more to not play than it would have cost me to get a CE of Diablo 3 as a whole.

For me at least I think if we are getting mass revamps again it will either be a major patch entirely based on that OR they will just yeet us to another planet and name it Azeroth II for the lulz

I wouldn’t be shocked by either of those, I just hope we don’t lose out on current stuff for a revamp like we did back then.

Yeah, that would be punching above their weight.

It’s easier for a mega-corporation like Blizzard to beat on gamers (Blitzchung) and casters instead.
