how come every country that’s tried this whole communist/socialist thing like Russia and China always end up being dictatorships, to me I would think that sharing, anti-capitalism and so on should be good things, if capitalism makes people selfish, shouldn’t the opposite make people less selfish? So why then, do they always end up being violent and oppressive?

Because socialism or communism are not the opposite of capitalism, and capitalism isn’t inherently bad just abuseable. They’re all abuseable.
