I see your point but a message saying that a part of your country should break off from another and be directly freed from their politics.
Is quite a bit different from spreading LGBTQ content in a society where you know it’s not socially acceptable. Heck look back 20-30 years and even in the most ‘woke’ of places it was still a huge stigma.
I did read somewhere that China does now allow for Gay legal unions, not marriage as yet, but it’s a start.
