Nobody here is arguing that what’s happening in Hong Kong isn’t terrible. Or that China doesn’t suck.
The difference is just coming from whether people feel a major company should be doing what they (as a publicly traded company) are legally obligated to do and make certain amenities to continue trading to the widest audience they can.
Those who are mostly upset at Blizzard thought better of them.
I hope these people find peace now they’ve seen the truth.
Supporting Blizzard and supporting the movement to free Hong Kong are not mutually exclusive.
I don’t hold Blizzard to a higher standard than any other modern company and thus it would be hypocritical of me to #BoycottBlizzard or anything with out cutting countless other things from my life.
