Blizz gotta start banning the toxic. its festering a hemorrhaging community

Wait…so you feel so privileged that you think it is owed to you by all other players to carry you through content that you don’t have the skill level to be doing?

Winning the lottery is even better but just as unlikely. :joy:

Big Brother can’t fix this. It wasn’t as bad back in the day because servers were communities. Now its all connected and theres really no risk of being blacklisted because you’ll probably never see the randoms you just did a key with again even if you did 1000 more dungeons. Report systems already exist for actual toxicity, everything else is just your damaged feelings and blizzard can’t bandaid that.

The only time I will heal is if it’s just old classic retail dungeons. I’ll do them because I figure there’s probably new players just coming into the game and I don’t mind helping them but as far as current content I’m never doing that again.
Absolutely rancid behavior

Nope. You’re a bunch of professional victims who don’t know any other way to exist.

Stop playing with people who you don’t want to play with and find a community that will suit your expectations.

Of the people, by the people, and for the people.

But the people are…

Again the pleasant feeling of agreeing  You KNOW there is an actual problem when they make 6M people agree to a social contract before even allowing them to log in.

In BGs some players want someone to blame for a loss so they look at the charts and pick a low heals or dps and try and convince other players to report that person for sabotage or something.

But if a player isn’t very good, does he/she still have a right to play? The opposing team has the same chance of getting an unskilled player as your team does so it seems fair.

Actually the more I’m thinking about this this is a terrible idea. If anything they need to just stop banning the people all together.

If this forum is any indication of the ability of those in charge to sniff out the actual problematic persons and remove them from the equation I don’t think it’s going to be done in any equitable fashion.

I think there is way too much personal bias going on here and I would not even begin to think that it’s absent from blizzard themselves enough to trust them not to be banning people who are supposedly toxic who are actually the victim of the toxicity LOL

It’s kind of weird that the longer they rely on the “social contract”, the more toxic things seem to become. The “social contract” is basically an honor system, expecting players to deal with policing their peers. Because nothing really comes of it. Meanwhile, players are given incentives not to treat players well, why would anyone be surprised when that happens?

People know the tos. They know there are rules. The social contract is yet another thing you HAVE to acknowledge.

These people see that. They KNOW. There adults they know better. But it wont stop them because blizzard dosent do anything

If they would start handing out chat mutes and suspensions like they used to it would die down significantly. If you cant behave like a normal person around other people than yes i agree. You dont get to play

The M+ community will learn to be nicer when there is no one queueing for the content. :woman_shrugging:

Idk. I think people who want more civil conditions will seek out guilds. I’m not sure pugging can reverse its reputation at his point.
