Well where did you come from? Thats right, THE MAINLAND! I rest my case your admiralty.

It was like that in Pandaria too. Pandas calling my pandas outsider.

And Anduin is king when I’m level 40. :woman_shrugging:t2:

Little things they could probably change but won’t.

It would be nice if they phased our capitals. Would love to go to Stormwind at any level below 60 and see little boy Anduin standing next to Bolvar and Onyxia.

In that case, they were outsiders. Since they were from the turtle and their cultures had been separate for a few thousand years.

At least that could be kinda explained that your Pandaren was from the Wandering Isle, not Pandaria. But yeah, it’s kinda silly. I don’t expect them to ever fix this though.

Technically, since player Pandaren are from Shen-Zin Su rather than Pandaria, we’re still outsiders.

SImilar things happen to Pandarens in Pandaria. They are refered to as strangers.

Oh right. Forgot about that turtle. Ok then. I retract my statement.

You can’t tell that based on looks alone though.

You smell like an outsider?

After centuries apart, I assume those of us from the Turtle had a different accent from native born Pandaren.

There was a time when we couldn’t see Varian’s monument if we hadn’t done that questline. Even something as simple as that, since they won’t phase us, because that would defeated their purpose of funneling is all into one city. And mess with RP.

Yeah, they dig themselves into a hole with all the phasing

Gnomes call my other gnomes “tall ones” … so confusing.

Yeah. I’d love pre-cataclysm elven district, etc. Wish they’d have phased cata.

Really is a shame. Would be really cool to see the changes as you progress through the game.

Then again, I am not a coder, so I have no idea if that would be a monumental task to create and maintain.

It’s weird to hit level 80 and suddenly have the MoP cut scene where Varian learns Anduin is missing somewhere in the strange new land they discovered, too.

But I don’t want them to remove it because oh god I miss Varian.

Yeah that is a slight problem. Perhaps it could be explained away by some clever head canon…

  1. the other Kul Tirans are messing with you for spending so much time away from Kul Tiras.

  2. They don’t recognize you and assume you’re a human from the mainland. There has been quite a few new people traveling to Kul Tiras so they may assume anyone they don’t know is a foreigner.
