Anyone else struggling to get a win? I’m solo queueing which might be a mistake but im 0-4 right now and the matches are completely 1 sided. Just stuck with dps who don’t interrupt or even understand how rbgs work.
Luck of the draw I suppose. I’ve had a good day thus far with my own. Havent won em all of course.
Being a team player goes a long way. A bunch of people want to just zug and zug, No one takes the time to be a flag princess and sit at bases. Or call incs. Helps when at least one player does.
I feel like you have more control over the Lottery than in RBG blitz. You could play flawlessly and go 0-10. You could fight on the roads and win every game.
Is it healer that can Que with a Dps? I only solo que everything I do so not even sure.
I’m just hoping there is some hidden system tracking my healing/precog/dmg. If not it’s going to be an interesting first week.
I’m tired of temple.
Just solo Que up to 1600 then play with a good dps to push further
I was at like 1-7 when I stopped as I was kinda getting frustrated.
I know for a fact I could have done much better myself but in most of those games, It’s my first time trying Blitz so I’m still learning what to do in the BG’s and it’s much faster paced than I’m used to.
I had the worst luck with teammates though who just seemed to lose the team fights while also avoiding helping out with objectives.
After I hit 1800 on my warrior either in arena or Blitz I’m probably going to retire him with PvP and focus on a ranged class. I feel like many of them have more of an opportunity to make an impact in the battle than a Warrior without much support like freedom here and there along with healers at max range so you can’t push up at times to actually hit something.
Honestly feel like healers are a tad too strong for 8v8 when the healers are good, there are just so many immunities, and instant heals. I find it hard trying to stop them.
We had someone rage quit our AB and still managed to turn it around for a win.
That’s what I like about Blitz…there’s always a play to be made.
Depends what time of day I play. I know it makes no sense, but whether we’re talking about WoW battlegrounds, OW2, or Heroes of the Storm, I get way better games in the middle of the day rather than on a week night.
Week nights I will easily go on 4, 5, 6+ game losing streaks. Never have that happen during late mornings or afternoons.
Again, it makes zero sense to me, as you’d think that eventually you’d get the good players on your team and the bad ones on the enemy team but for some reason it doesn’t work out like that.
Objectives objectives objectives. And don’t give up. I’m by no means saying it’s your fault we all get bad luck sometimes in blitz. I just got out of a blitz with multiple glad players on the other side kinda kicking our butts but we never gave up and a clutch play or 2 and we ended up winning. Remember it’s just fun and there are 7 other players so mistakes happen and sometimes it’s your team that makes them. Also in a few weeks all the sweats going to be past us regular folks.
bg blitz really ic a crazy game mode man
ill never forget the time i was in EOTS and we had 1492 points… then they capped both bases, stole our flag and won.
yep… the biggest fail of my life.
I’ve won 7/7 so far.
Had a game end like this today and it was the most hype thing ever.
Side note
Are healers too strong?
I literally never see them die in any content even when there’s 5+ guys on them and it’s really annoying
Honestly I had the same.
Then someone got mad @ me not pocket healing them & claimed with my record of poor win-loss ratio compared, it’s my fault for the loss and how it apparently: “Explains you as a player. You should honestly just stop playing WoW.”
- Like, I haven’t done ranked in a very long time - But good god, is it always this toxic?!?
They said they were reporting me for being a bad player & throwing the game, even though I did seriously try Not to mention when I had warriors wailing on me, they were hardly there to help peel them off so I could advance further & heal the team.
After I left the battleground, they even took the effort to whisper me what they said in battleground chat Anyway, I told them to cope harder & popped them on ignore, then reported them back for toxicity — Hoping Blizzard actually honour the social contract & keep an eye on them to see if they do it towards others - and if so, apply necessary punishment.
welcome to garbage solo que ranking systems, where your progress is 1000% RNG .
It is heavy random what kind of teammates you will get early on because that pool of players includes 0 CR.
You should have just reported them and not replied to them, it gives them an avenue to report you too.
I only replied after they harassed me.
Not to mention, what I replied with wasn’t the same merit of toxicity they provided.
But yeah next time I think I’m just going to ignore, report and move on.
It won’t matter to Blizzard, two wrongs don’t make a right.
If they reported you too, it’s likely that you’ll get silenced too.
Sorry you had to deal with that. I only get frustrated at players who don’t try. Like sitting in the middle of eye of storm fighting when we have 2 bases and the enemy has a flag. Like why are you fighting? Go defend up the bases!
There’s still nice people, but sadly us healers get the brunt of the abuse.
