I realize that every day I get home and feel like I’m wasting my time playing Blitz, a game mode that seems to have been born flawed (I don’t rule out that it was on purpose so we’d be subscribed for 6 months).
Very little gain and a lot of punishment. Very little satisfaction and a lot of anger. Very little fair play and a lot of imbalance.
This game mode is unfortunately made to be played in duo queue which makes it seem like this was never a solo game due to the huge disadvantage it creates.
I enjoyed playing rbg since I only have fun doing pvp usually with my friends (who are no longer here) and now because of Blitz there are fewer people making groups RBG, I guess those who made arenas 2vs2/3vs3 felt something similar when they added the solo shuffle.
Because I guess the best thing I can do is finish the mythics+ for the mount and get the 20th anniversary rewards and stop playing.
Why would you subject yourself to objectively worse content (at least on the basis of the types of interactions you commonly face) like M+ if you’re already tired of Blitz?
I’ve been not playing arena since hallway through the first season in BC, and able to live my life and not really post about it.
Now I have the best addition to the game ever.
If you don’t like it, don’t play it.
at least with mythics you can choose who you play with

Blitz is the best. Get rating, get conquest, not waiting after a group to fill up and disband after 1 game for hours.
What’s faster honor, insta que blitz or epics?

my biggest gripe with blitz is the players
the mages/shammies/lizards who refuse to timewarp/lust
the braindead people who sit at inactive bases in eots all game
when u get put on a team that literally doesnt do objectives at all ( HELLO PLZ RETURN OUR FLAG IVE BEEN RDY TO CAP for 5 mins now!!!)
etc etc
the game mode is fun… the sucky people can make it super tilting
You mean 5 seconds. Because that’s how long it takes for the flag to return itself, if no one picks it up.

i think we have some confusion here
- i have the enemy flag and i am on our capture point
- i am standing on cap for 5 minutes( maybe an exaggeration idk im bad with time), waiting for my team to go and return our flag so i can cap (but they never do, not a single person even tries to go for flag they just all fight mid)

I’d say do Blitz if you’re still farming conquest, then Epics.
I enjoy and have had success in Blitz. I understand every game I’ve won has in some way bothered members of the opposition. I’ll just say, Solo BG and every other game mode wasn’t made to satisfy every player. Gotta find what you enjoy, even if it isnt wow. I got my fill of M+ in SL and DF. Use to enjoy pve a bunch but Im ok not doing it right now. Could go back to it if a spec I wanna play is giga buffed. For some reason I like the challenge of PVP, but enjoy pve most when I can just steamroll the content. I don’t mind pvping until I stop having tons of fun and going to do IRL stuff in the rest of my free time. BGs not going my way? Maybe get the kids in the car and go race go carts or take a drive to our favorite restaurants or ice cream shops. Everything in moderation, even wow.
I just treat blitz like random bgs and it’s great because as a healer i get instant queues almost all the time. I no longer care about the number attached to this game mode lol.
Strangely enough, Solo BG is the easiest rated pvp to climb to high CR. I think it is the only mode with folks above 2400 now.

I mean , it’s just random bgs with a number attached to it. If you do t like bgs you probably won’t like blitz for some of the same reasons. Idk what else to say but I’m having fun knowing I have at least 2 healers until one goes full potato on me but that happens in randos as well.

RBGB is a magical thing.
Simultaneously impossible to win, and a 50/50 coin flip and also the bracket with the highest ratings achieved.

I believe this now. I paid for 6 months - I have nothing I want to do and was committed to playing Blitz. They got me good. I too will probably just do anniversary stuff. Sad tbh.
