It really is easy to get them. It’s just time consuming.
Ah! Do rated Rbgs I’m not even kidding they appear in your bags after a win randomly. I’m not making that up. You work towards the percentage of the seasonal PvP mount like everyone else but rated bgs you just get random vicious saddles in your bags and anyone who does Rbgs has an excess. That’s what I meant
I would like to check the legitimacy of this claim, as if this was real I feel like more mount collectors would be doing Rated BGs rather than grinding bar after bar. I have asked mount collectors and they seem to think this is a fake claim. Either that or somehow the saddle bar is progressing at the same time as the seasonal mount bar for some reason, but if it was you would be seeing a saddle every 40 (?) wins and not ‘randomly’.
To the point of this post, yes for people (outside of Rated BG players it seems) the vicious mount/saddle bar is a grind. It took me 111 games on a healer to grind it out this season which was queueing for half the day almost every day over two weeks during the holiday break.
For a fresh player who might see the PvP mounts and go ‘wow I really like them’, there are currently 25 vicious mounts, and in Midnight, those 25 will be on the vendor. 25 bars at 2% for someone to grind them out is a lot of PvP. If you estimate it is 100 games @ 50% WR (50 wins) from 0 rating for a saddle, that is 2500 games total.
% increase across the board would be nice. I think the excess saddles the people who only PvP end up with, and allowing people to put those on the AH would be really good too. It would allow hardcore PvPers to have a way of making gold since not much else from PvP makes gold outside of recipes and those stones to craft with. It would also allow people who don’t have the time to do all those PvP games to consider gold cost vs time investment. For those of us with demanding jobs, I would happily pay the gold to save the time.
Saddles on the BMAH could also be a good idea, and would be a great gold sink for people with millions of gold and nothing to spend it on.
Saddles for honor tokens could also be great. I’m sure there are people sitting on hundreds of honor tokens and nothing to spend them on either. Make a saddle available for say, 200 honor tokens? People spamming PvP for the bar % could also trade their acquired honor tokens for another mount which may make PvP feel more rewarding than a slow grind.
These are all suggestions that have been mentioned before by veteran mount collectors to help newer collectors who may feel locked out of those mounts entirely. They still require active participation in PvP but may ‘weed’ out those casual players in Rated PvP that seem to get complained about a lot here.

You should get something for losses, just because you’re investing your time into something. They always talk about respecting players time, I guess it doesn’t apply to PvP. You can play all day and walk away with nothing.

Vicious saddles I think I have seven on my
Monk and probably like 12 on my priest not sure about other alts. They literally just appear/ I’m a casual player and I have every mount and a 
ton of useless saddles
We should be able to sell saddles! Otherwise it’s another uselsss currency
