Just saying that bragging about having people offer to pay you money for in-game services is not a good look, even if you didn’t take any of them up on their offers.

Watch out guys, the guy hiding behind a classic toon is going to false report you! Too bad I play on different accounts so the automated report abuse doesn’t do anything. Sorry I took away your income from boosting, it’s time to grow up and get a life somewhere else. As much as fun as this has been, the toxicity and ragebaiting is far too sad to watch and killing the vibe. I am sure that the Blizz folks are going to be pleased by this example, gloating that Blizz is laughing at us for losing RMT money, while insinuating they let you off for a violation
I don’t know who any of these other folks are in RL, but I’m just an old dude who likes BGB and thinks what you are doing is bad for the community, doubly so as what you purported to be doing would have been a positive influence
I don’t know if you and forumtoon are being purposely obtuse, but the statement he made comes off as there being a demand yet despite that he isn’t taking them up on their offers.
Would you rather him of taken them up on their offers and fully crashed out or discussed how it did exist and instead of being a terrible person, he turned them down?
Also outright admitting that you’re willing to abuse the report system in attempts to get someone banned is a very questionable thing to say. Hopefully you wouldn’t actually attempt that Sicilian
Eh, except he didn’t actually say he didn’t take any money (if I missed it please quote), he just said he got lots of offers of money and said none of his Discord members would say they gave him money.
He might be completely innocent, but it’s obvious he’s trying just hard enough to make it seem like he might be getting paid to bait people into accusing him of it instead of just coming out and explicitly saying “yeah I don’t do that”.
And trying to bait people into arguments is not a good look either.
So either he’s making money and therefor involved in RMT, or he’s purposefully trying to start arguments by making it seem like he might be involved in RMT, which while not as bad, is still not good.
Either situation would be worthy of criticism.
He could have avoided it by either just leaving the RMT offers out of it as they wouldn’t be relevant nor needed to prove “demand”, or come out and say “people are offering me money but I am never going to do it for money and risk my account.”
Instead he brings up RMT and then laughs off the criticism of it and gives half answers.

At this point if you can’t come to a concise conclusion then it’s a mental failure on your behalf to come to a rational conclusion based off the actions of someone. He admitted to griefing a lobby, he said he wouldn’t do it again, and hasn’t done anything negative since. Yet despite all that you, sicilian, and others are sitting here still trying to hold it over his head as if people can’t grow and learn from mistakes. Get over it and move on. It’s truly digusting behavior.

I don’t know what else to tell you. He’s got a lot of red flags and none of his behavior makes me inclined to trust him. He might be completely innocent, except of the one thing he’s admitted to, but his behavior is making me skeptical. People can be skeptical of someone who is displaying red flags such as “just asking” if he should repeat the exact same thing he already did.
I don’t know what streamers are doing. I don’t watch them, I don’t follow them, but I do read these forums and based on what I read here, I don’t trust this guy and I don’t like him and that is my opinion. If you have a different opinion, that’s fine. It doesn’t mean either of us has a, as you put it:

If anything that should display characteristically that he’s not terrible, but I guess that’s just lost here. The discord will also be fine as I feel there’s a small community of gamers who enjoy playing together.

I mean it seems very simple to me, as he admitted what he did.
He sync queued 4 of his healers into a Blitz match and then either didn’t play any of them or only played 1 of them, griefing the game for all the other players involved as well as anyone else queueing at the same time due to the dropped queues.
As far as I’m aware, this fact is not in contest. It’s admitted, by him, and agreed upon by everyone who saw the video or his posts or where ever else they found out about it.
The only things I have commented on are this specific incident and his other posts in the forum which are again part of the factual record. I am not talking about his Discord, or his streams, or his… Whatever. I am only talking about his behavior on these forums, as indicated by his own posts.
Obviously not everyone can see it.
Ever hear of Schrodinger’s Queue Syncer? It’s where someone implies they are going to queue sync in blitz and they are both joking and serious until they read the crowd’s reaction and decide which it’s going to be.
Again though, joking about doing the exact same thing you just did, is not a good look. Like why do that? Who does something that the community overall strongly disapproves of, admits doing it, then goes on to joke about doing it again?
The sarcasm was not obvious to me and I’m usually good at picking that kind of stuff up. Though sarcasm over text is harder to see and that’s what the /s tag is for, something he didn’t include with his post.
