Picture this: choice node- AM or spellwarding
Am for damage, Spellwarding if you cant live without a spell immunity once per 4 or 5 minutes.
Spellwarding historically has been the primary reason why prot paladin has a spot in raid, similar to blood DKs having Gorefiendâs Grasp.
Giving more access to spellwarding in PvE imbalances both tanks and healers. Prot wouldnât have any utility that is unique to its spec and holy would have a total, physical, and magical immunity⊠something that no other healer has.
You have to think about balance from a bigger perspective than just being contained within paladin specs.

Spellwarding is still bugged for prot, it gets âunlearnedâ at the end of the spec change. only fix so far is to swap the talent out and then back in. its been reported since early 2023. get your sht together blizzard.
I suspect its a mix up with the pvp talent of the same name causing it.
