Blessing of Spellwarding shows as a magic buff and wowhead says it can be dispelled by magic.
Chat GPT also believes it can be purged and suggests that this is one of the best ways to deal with it.
However, pallies with it on appear to be immune to purge.
Is blessing of spellwarding supposed to make the target immune to purge or is it supposed to be possible to purge it off like BOP and it is currently bugged?

Right, but the way it is listed as a magic buff that is subject to magic dispel suggests that that might be a bug as opposed to how it is intended to work.
Divine Shield, for example and in contrast, does NOT show as a magic buff that is subject to dispel. So it makes sense that it can’t be purged and can only be MDd.
