The sad thing is, with the current tuning of Blackrock Depths raid, they’re not entirely out of line to be demanding high ilvl and achievements. The tuning right now is horrible. Heroic feels like mythic and normal feels like higher tier heroic.

Must be a you thing. I finished the first wing in a full pug with only one wipe before the 2nd boss cause the other tank got cocky and pulled everything. Otherwise, the whole thing was 25 mins maybe from start to finish.
You cleared normal or heroic in 25 minutes?

Yep.
This event actually motivates to do a full tour at least. I liked these from time to time in dungeon form. Some are thinking the old days. In the redo’s BRD lost its luster to some.
you didn’t even ask where 4 dudes went at the mole machine right away. Top choice, ready…go.
last paladin I ran took a few runs to even get a tank who wanted to hit the part I needed for paladin quest. Several skippers and the one full finally.
Getting full tours is the reward as I see it.
Its fun… heroic is hard - its great!
Honestly, good tuning, worth doing fresh content you cant steamroll.

I think the raid is pointless without mastery gear. Which classes don’t need mastery will want to run it

The current tuning of the raid for the gear that it drops is a major downside.

since i was just in a group where most people were 610+ and wiped on the first boss till the group gave up i understand why. its SUPER overtuned so you need that much stam and armor to survive 7 sec of 1m+ damage every sec. and this is just the first boss

I tried to heal this fight on heroic and I don’t know how lol. He does like 10mil dmg to everyone in the raid every minute.

Good. Let the raid be focused on those that actually have been doing the content instead of the one stop shop tourists. Want to engage with the content with the community? Then do all the content.
The tuning is a bit on the harder side but my main issue with the raid is trying to do the mechanics on some bosses as a say, rogue. Holy f I’ve never been this upset with the game, it’s just ridiculous.

Had to open a Reddit post to see a level 39 mistweaver doing 4 mil dps tanking the final boss.
The scaling in this game makes me cringe
