Of course we all have max level mages, we understand the game. But this is a change for open world herbs as well, which has nothing to do with the dress.

Whatever you say eyr

Nah even Eyr’s takes aren’t as bad as that ones. He has like double eyr’s posts as well

Faceless alts deserve to be treated as a monolith of stupidity.

These changes seem more impactful, but history has shown the bots are usually 5 steps ahead of Blizzard. So it wouldn’t surprise me if they find a way to be exploit this.

Sounds like a drinknblinks alt they both talk about how easy classic is but then wine about not having flask, boosts, and dual spec. Everything that makes classic trivial

So you can petri out of every bad situation? lol

That’s great. Sad it took 5 months to fix, but better late than never.

Now please hyper increase the spawn rates of those high level herbs.

Edit: Also if we can ever get additional drops from bosses in raids considering we only get half as many lockouts. That would be killer

I’m not the one that started a thread about the guy lol.

Based on the dialog I’ve seen from Eyr, they’re probably one of the people manipulating the economy. They were none too pleased with me when they were claiming bots reporting players wouldn’t hurt them and I explained exactly how it was executed. Also, the thread mysteriously disappeared… presumably mass reported off the forums.

I respect that Eyr has opinions. The guys that make cash off the game pay for their licenses too, but I wish they’d be a little less heavy handed trying to brain wash people into forced agreement with the things that make them more money.

The game was designed so that every raider COULD HAVE A FLASK if they wanted. All of a sudden, people have latched on to this weird mindset that players are “spoiled” because they want Blizzard to make adjustments to match the population. It’s just MATH for pities sake.

And finally today Blizzard made a change they should have had in the game all along.

The profit margin will be lower, so it should result in less bots over time.

The only thing that’s ever fully kept bots under control is killing them in PvP combat. If you really want them to go away, you need to invite the cats in to take care of the mice. Bring world PvP back and decide how you’re going to live with the cats, or let the mice continue to eat you out of house and home.

thank you kaivax for your great work, and please do something about all those level 1~5 players that are sitting on every single auction house 24/7 using bots to automatically instant snipe any cheap items.

And the price is still higher T_T

It’s an economy exploit attack. The price will rise until the black lotus market is sufficiently flooded that the number of bots in front of the AH can’t buffer the price drop fast enough.

Simple market manipulation.

If you want to do something on the PvP realms, you can attack the city with a 40-person raid and kill everyone inside of the auction house. It will pause the exploitation until the bot owner comes back to resurrect them.

Don’t forget about the auction houses in the back of the city. Google all the locations, there are many that are not well known.

Unfortunately the low level AH bots will not be pvp flagged

On a PvP realm that shouldn’t matter. Everyone is more or less flagged unless they changed it… haven’t done a city raid in a bit and haven’t done one yet on Classic.

PvE realms are on their own. This is a longstanding known issue with Classic PvE realms where any nefarious behavior that’s not outright combat has to be tolerated because there is no mechanism to enforce politeness or good behavior. I avoid PvE only realms for this reason. If someone steals something from me after I kill the mobs protecting it or WHILE I’m killing the mobs protecting it, I refuse to accept any other outcome than their death. Items may be gone, but the consequences should be clearly stated.

You auto unflag after being in a friendly area after 5 minutes and are not flagged unless you manually flag or go to a contested area. The bots will not be flagged unfortunately, or i would gladly go kill them.
