I don’t hate the church of satan, they’re the ones that started the whole idea. They’re just a tiny bit gatekeepery and purist.

Now that’s something I can get behind. I don’t believe in Satan or God, but I certainly believe in some of the ideas they both represent (Satan more so than God).

Don Quixote, is a fictional character who saw enemies out of nothing in an attempt to be something he could never be.
More or less, I’m saying don’t turn enemies out of people just to well, out of lack of a better word, “larp” as the righteous paladins purging evil.

Alas this world has a very real dark side.
Belief in Satan to me is just believing in free will. We encourage benevolence and empathy. But we don’t do the “turn the other cheek” thing.
I got into satanism for around 2 reasons. 1: I’m transgender, having a religion that is like “You do you” is pretty sweet. The other is I’ve had trauma from parents and being told for once “You don’t have to forgive them” and that turn not that other cheek crap was surprisingly very healing. Far more healing than what the more common religions say or try to do.
