@Frostera So after posting this you may get some kind of flack because obviously it sounds like a movie / video game but thanks so much for posting! I believe you personally but I could easily see how others won’t and even to what extend will. After seeing that how did it impact your life going forward?

No problem, it’s a touchy subject and most exorcists don’t like to talk about these things. They haunt us.
Me? I’ve dealt with so many it no longer bothers me.
It doesn’t matter if I’m called a quack, liar, etc etc. It matters not what those who have never dealt with such chaos think. If anything, I envy them.
I don’t think about those experiences too much, thankfully I’ve put myself through extremely rigorous mental training for these things that after a few months, I tend to let it go and think what could have happened if there was never an exorcist, it gives me a sort of drive to continue being one on the side.
Are you wanting a character’s sexuality to be an integrate part of their story? Or are you looking for just an acknowledgement that they are homosexual? It seems like Blizzard is willing to give us the latter.

Well, at this time it looks like Blizzard is just going to give us an acknowledgement with some quest text. There are very few actually stories in the game that really focus on characters’ love lives or sexuality.
These threads have metastasized. We need nuclear intervention.
Where is all the straight sex in this game?
Eh this is still practically a feast for me as a trans guy to get the surprise of Pelagos. Trans men are kinda over shadowed when it comes to trans characters in media.

I still believe sexuality has no place in video games. As far as the canon is concerned IDC what Blizzard says or tells or whatever. WoW though is a game and in this game zero sexuality should be explored.

I won’t be reading through the thread…just wanted to pop in and say that Marcus the paladin exists. If you don’t know who he is, look him up and you’ll see your “representation” is there and then some.

Well I’m sorry to say this, but not everything can get represented in a game. Give me a reason why bisexuality SHOULD and NEEDS to be represented in a fantasy MMORPG set in a fictional world.
