Enhancement isnt good with 1.12.
Iâd love to point out all the things wrong with this statement, but Iâll simply point out that shamans canât use 1h swords.

I hope shaman players today get to experience what itâs like to segue from vanilla enhance to BC enhance, because boy is it glorious, especially when they do the pre-patch and you get to buy 2 HWL cleavers.

Just to put it in hours, it takes about 80-100 hours depending on if you are in stomp group or not.
When I swapped to shaman at BC launch, after hitting 70 on my hunter fast, I LOVED it. BC shamans were amazing in every spec. I raided as resto to get in a top guild, but I still had fun!
Itâd be even more hilarious if they managed to reproduce the original DW Windfury bug when BC released, where sometimes your WF on one hand would proc it on the other hand and just go back and forth.
Enhance is bad when everyone else is geared with a lot of health
Probably nightfall, if youâre raiding as enhance it wonât be for personal dps
Worry first about finding someone who wants to bring a shaman for DPS⌠99.9999999999% of the time you wont

Any guild that is going to get a Dark Edge or Menethil is not going to let an enhance shammy raid or give him the weapons.

Anyway yeah the usual big DPS 2H weapons will be your best but unless you are omega best friends with whoever handles loot youâre either rocking Arcanite Reaper, Unstoppable Force, a PvP weapon, or if youâre wanting into a raid group Nightfall
Nightfall and Improved Totems will certainly give you a utility slot as youâll make your raid that much better
You will probably see that happen but it will be because the shaman is GM or officer in one of the top guilds. That shaman will have been healing the entire time and his reward will be a Menethil to respec and make a pvp video with. Some rando shammy on the forums who has to actually ask what his bis is will not be that person though.

Whatever 2H weapon the warriors can spare 
All you nay sayers, saying âenhance shaman will never get this weaponâ.
Why? They donât compete with paladins, most raiding fury warriors are going to DW and will most likely get a 2H sword if they do go 2H. Now this leaves all 2H axes and 2H maces for shamans.
Iâd have 0 problem giving a top end 2h axe or 2h mace to an enhance shaman.
Unless you are in a 1% guild, enchance shammy is perfectly fine, especially in Classic.

Agree, if the last few weeks have shown us anything, its that classic is super easy and having perfect raid comps doesnt actually matter at least until naxx (possibly?). Also, shaman utility from my memory of 2004 and on was very under appreciated, shown by the current meta of melee cleave. I have a feeling the, âShamans will never get that itemâ crowd will be dissapointed in the end
Edit: as others have also said, lets all remember too that we actually know that fury dw warriors are best for dps, which really only leaves shamans the logical choice for 2h axe and mace
