If you don’t care about doing the raid content, you don’t need the gear. Also, it’s a game. Harder, more coordinated content needs valuable enough rewards that people want to do it more than once. It’s a carrot on a stick that works.
PVP rewards could be better, but that is a viable path at 60 at least.

It may not be for him to decide, but the devs sure have made it abundantly clear. Every single launch of this game from vanilla through every expac to dragonflight, including every relaunch and SoD, have been developed to reward group play. You deciding that’s inconvenient now and demanding changes is insane.
Also you are VERY involved in conversations about balancing, raid comps, nerfs, etc. on these forums. I’m starting to think you just wanted attention and are lying about things to forward a troll post.

What is this ‘using gear’ you speak of?
raids are end game, therefore end game gear is kept in raids. thank u for coming to my ted talk.
This is SoD thats what SoD is all about tbh. Reducing MC to 20 man, adding double XP. This is a fun server. Theres no reason not to add catalysts or PvP specific gear with more stam than raid gear for PvPers.
If you want to play a super sweat mode PvE WOTLKC or Retail is that way --------->
This is not true as the BiS PvP gear is the same as the PvE gear minus or a stam piece or two. Based around current SoD changes there really is no reason not to add lower level updated PvP gear or a catalyst system.
Also add SoD arena with RATING LOCKED gear for PvP players that is PvP BiS

Wondering what OP is even doing with his time playing the game. Since he wants all his gear without raiding, what is he doing?
As someone with nothing to do but raid (which takes 2hours a week), it’s just always mind boggling to see post like this.

Thats because you don’t actively play the game outside of raid logging. Plenty of folks are PvPing every day in AB or doing STV runs or p3 AH prep and gold farm. RP Events on Crusader Strike, giant WPVP player hosted events, theres literally a massive abundance of things to do on my server in SoD.
But they can’t find 2 hours a week to raid Gnomer? Interesting.

If youre not in a dedicated guild run with dedicated times or have the ability to make the same dedicated times every week, SoD phase 2 probably has one of the worst PuG experiences in raiding in WoW history. Theres a reason people want options outside of raid.
There is a reason already made clear by the dev team, pvp is not worth the dev resources. Thats why you wont have and wont get pvp sets until 60 phases.
If pvp were popular enough to bring in resources, I’m sure the dev team would use them on such. It isn’t, it doesn’t, the devs didn’t. But by all means use every forum topic to shoehorn this idea you have in there.
What would you catalyze? Catalyst won’t work as some sort of saving grace for solos or really any non raider since there is no means to obtain tier equivalent gear outside of raids. I hope you aren’t suggesting any gear same slot catalyst. Oof, that would be bad.

Its simple just add the catalyst, like I said this is a fun server now, no legitimate reason not to add the DF catalyst catch up system or stam PvP gear. /shrug
Thats a funny thing to say about a game mode where 50% of the development time is going to WPvP events. I think you might be confused.
