They’ll make it a copy and paste expansion just like the last three expansion. Instead of learning from their mistake and reading feedbacks they’ll just add things that is easier for them to do rather than blow our minds with something fun.

The world was more relevant in vanilla than dungeons/raids were.
That it will be really good at the start, compel me to purchase it and then sandbag me with more of the same old garbage. Then my plan of going back and doing all the old stuff I liked will be put off again.
My biggest fear is similar. I hope they don’t release systems that enable neckbearding (i.e. no lifers who invest the most time into infinite grinding are the most powerful). The AP grind in BFA in the neckpiece was technically like that but it provided so little player power that people just didn’t bother doing it.
They will add way too many currencies and systems and create even more bloat.

Why not just let those people finish the game? All their efforts designed to slow down people who have nothing else in life, just end up trickling down to make the game more uncomfortable for the rest of us.
My F&F guild in antorus went to master loot because how bad our loot was in Tomb. It’s gone now. Farming for AP for traits in legion/bfa and then later essence slots in 8.2/8.3, gets undone later on by having better AK gains. Blizzard not having account-wide layer progression in torghast until after mythic progression was over (remember the 1, 2, 3, 3, and then 4, 5, 6, 6, etc grind per character at the start of SL?). That’s not fun and is done to enforce play metrics and add unnecessary hurdles for people who are already time-strapped and lesser skill than those who play 16-20hrs a day.
No world content of note and everything not note being instanced again.
Professions don’t have anything going for them for another expac.
They keep timegating things not understanding its stupid to keep doing that.

Worst or the same as SL
I have no big fear, but I do know this is all about to repeat again regardless of dragons or purple void berries. the game needs more than another expansion to add more of a mess on top of a disaster. it needs a partial/full overhaul everything needs to get fixed and get revamped, and we all know that is not in the budget and won’t happen.
Oh you definitely can when the forum won’t shut the refrigerator up about it.

That will not fly after the so-called pull of the ripcord stunt. If they ever do any stunt again that will end this game. it will make the no-flying episode look tiny compared to how many jump ship. Thus, their PR stunts day are gone and this I can say with confidence. Fool me once shame once shame on me. Fool me twice shame on you. Fool me a thrid time and we are on the n o friend list.
