The point is that its an appearance which is only available to one character. There’s no reason not to make them available all characters the way other appearances are. Just think about it for second: is there anything intrinsically wrong with that being so? Is any character actually harmed by a cosmetic being available across an account?
Maybe they want to play a druid on a different server or faction?
Since the end of Legion they have created 5 druids. Why does it bother you that someone plays like that rather than the way you want them to? Why would you force someone to race or faction change? I don’t get it.
They don’t want to level up and gear that character in order to unlock that tint. Forcing them to do a faction change and start pushing rating on a character they don’t do PvP on isn’t going to improve their game experience.
Did you ever unlock all 4 tints on a mage tower appearance? Have you ever played alts?
This is not true. The unlocks must be done on the same character that originally ran the mage tower. But now I can use those mage tower sparkle kitty appearances on any druid alt.
Because I don’t enjoy people creating nonexistent problems.
Yes I agree that the skins should be account wide. But in OPs sense is just senseless. Literally there’s a fix for we reason they might to play a different druid over another. Race change, faction change, realm change.
So like instead of making a post with a redundant request how about just do one of those fixes so you’re playing the right druid.
You see it as problematic that other players play alts, or play alts of the same class, or aren’t willing to abandon their friends and faction and/or realm change at the drop of a hat. I don’t.
The skins ARE account wide. This is not at issue.
No. Pulling out your wallet and throwing unlimited amounts of real money at blizzard because YOU are uncomfortable that other people play alts is not a real solution. I am in the same position as the OP. My guess is that a whole freaking lot of people who got mage tower appearances did not complete that RBG requirement and thus do not have their fourth color unlocked.
How about you faction and realm change to make some obsessive stranger happy?
So the reason I made this new druid “Viremia” is because my old guild left the server. Our guild found it incredible difficult to recruit for mythic raiding so they all faction changed and server changed to Area-52. I however did not follow. I will not go horde again because I don’t want to be horde.
I decided to lvl another druid as alliance on Proudmoore.
I actually have used the original druid to collect other skins from Balance of Power and such, but I do not wanna level that old druid to 60. Leveling in SL is rather sad. It is not only the leveling part that discourages me. I do not wanna run another char through all the systems and such.
I have never done an RBG in my wow life. So not only would I need to level that old char I never play, but I would need to also do PVP, which I’m willing to try pvp, just to get 10 RBG wins.
Blizzard please make it so my other druid can unlock the purple kitty skin by doing 10 RBG’s. Its hard enough for me to PvP as it is.
I am betting even if they did what OP wanted, they still wouldn’t get the skin because they don’t want it very bad. Winning 10 RBGs is going to be a trial for them and they don’t want to put in any time to level up the other druid anyway.
I would never even think of asking blizzard to change the game to accommodate me, when I already have a fairly easy fix I can do myself. Maybe that’s what comes from living more than 30 years.
They didn’t. They locked away the ability to UNLOCK this cosmetic to the toon that earned it. Again, he can level that toon, or he can forget having the appearance.
As someone who has multiple priests I am in no position to criticize but as others have said, you created this problem yourself and seem unwilling to fix it yourself. I knew what having multiple of a class would mean when it came to consolidating certain things such as challenge mode warps. It is what it is. Each patch you basically get a soft reset so it would be pretty easy to level up your legion druid.
People swap servers. People swap factions. People want a new race. People level instead of giving a crap ton of money to Blizz. This isn’t difficult.
Like it’s not. And so many other things are unlocked across the account. Why not these?
This.
Then you’re done and have no logical argument.
Again, people swap servers, races, factions and aren’t giving Blizz more money. Don’t like it? Don’t care. People are different. This doesn’t affect you whatsoever. Stop being ridiculous.
And the entire point is… it shouldn’t be an issue to begin with and Blizz can fix it for many people in similar situations.
Why do people have to chastise others for playing differently?
It works but if you want to unlock the tints you have to do so on the mage tower druid. I have the same issue on some characters in my case I did the arcane challenge on my night elf mage during nighthold and during the end of legion leveled a lightforged mage for heritage skins and took the opportunity to gear it up and grabbed the fire and frost while not bothering with the arcane challenge again. That light forged mage is now 60 but cannot unlock the arcane recolors despite actually having it mogged right now.
What has AR’s anything to do with simply not getting some levels to work on another tint which could of been done in that time. It’s really a people problem, stop blaming others for your own mismanaged choices.
