Big Love Rocket

They have been running with making of Dragon Flight usually when it gets closer to these events it maybe brought up again but really I wouldn’t hold my breath on that…I seen what you said happen before many times…

It wasn’t always, this was introduced on Legion last patch in order to avoid players to use allied races and then delete character and try again, Just Blizzard doing a grind worse, instead of allowing a single character to do infinite amount of runs. Now, Collectors have to level up alts again every expansion.

I know, that’s why I’m asking, they mentioned changes for next year event and with the launch so close to the event, maybe they won’t change the minimum level but i doubt it.

It was worth a shot to ask for this, I’m still planning to level up all alts, since I don’t think they’ll reply to this.

it feels bad that during a year you’ve 50+ attempts and next year your progress is less if you don’t level up alts to the new cap, it’s like you lose progress, that moving cap is one of the worst things implemented in this game for players looking for this cosmetics.

The changes they were talking about mostly was the drop rate of the Love Rocket and how low it is…that has been the major complaint about Love is in the Air event now for years…

I would love to stop marching my army through Love is in the Air every year.

I know, hopefully those changes are implemented, but I’ve mentioned for years that Blizzard should stop moving this minimum level, the issue with players doing a new allied race for the lootbox was fixed a long time ago during Legion.

Actually, a lot of players that used a character on Legion for the box and comeback during SL because didn’t play BFA couldn’t try to get the box without leveling up that character first. It’s a constant loss of progress.

The vibe I got from their post about it was not to expect anything announced until next event at the earliest.

By this read, we won’t hear anything for another 2.5 months.

Yeah I know that one year they lowered the level to do the place and I had a ton of alts I wasn’t playing at that time…I was taking in 35 alts a day for that rocket…then the next year they changed it back to you had to be within certain level requirement to have a chance at it…so that cut down my chances…I am just finally glad I got it this year in Feb…but I do feel for others trying to work the event with as many alts as they can for a chance.

What I have been saying we will have to be closer too the event date in Feb before anything might be said or done…right now they are busy with Dragon Flight and that going live.

Nothing will happen. The excuse will be they’ve been werking hard on DF. They couldn’t be bothered doing anything for WoW’s birthday so why expect anything different.

What they said was they planned to make changes to make big love rocket not an impossible dream for most, what changes to make it obtainable…we don’t know.

The only real change they could do is to increase the drop rate up from what it is now… The armory states that the mount has a 1%-2% drop rate. But there is another listing for it at this rate… The estimated drop rate for this mount is 0.03%…I believe the lower drop rate is what we have been facing for years now…it took me 12 yrs to finally it…I got it this past Feb 2022…I was taking in anywhere from 35 to 15 alts depending on which year with the event they had that one year they lowered the level to go in and that was when I had 35 alts doing it, and still didn’t drop till this year and I only had 12 alts working it.

Even if they move the drop rate to be 99% and I’ve 50 characters, there’s a chance that I’ll be so unlucky, that’s the problem with RNG. So, I’ll have to level up my alts, maybe the only change will be an increase on droprate. as per Dev message, it seems like he would like to try something different but maybe they won’t do anything and just increase it to a different drop rate.

I have a feeling that is the only thing most of the player base will accept is a raise in the drop rate Naamah…

Well Ramsay this is only the 18th birthday now…normally on years that end in 5, 10 15 and so on they usually have more stuff for it…like they have had before. I try to give them the benefit of doubt but as many years I have been in game and see what has not happened or happened its hard too.

Our community has a lot of players, so it’ll always dissapoint someone. I’d prefer an increase drop rate but at the same time a vendor with the mount for X amount of currency from the bosses or some sort of bad luck mechanic. Just like Shadowlands handle some mounts on the covenants, it could drop from a rare or you could buy it for anima/offerings as bad luck protection, every attempt was progress for your second option.

You can check wowpedia, I don’t agree with the idea of “major” anniversary only ending on 5,0. A lot of other live games update holidays and anniversaries each year, just check Overwatch produced by the same company, maybe the monetization is a reason to impulse those changes, but the gameplay loop for the events is fun and the OW team added some new things each year.

Well Shreds the holiday event for the Love Rocket is really only about 2 and half months away some folks are trying to plan ahead that many months with having to deal with a new expansion coming out in a matter of weeks now and trying the waters to see if any input can be gained for info on what will happen in Feb 2023…major Mount collectors are like that now…knows I am.
