Actually no, I don´t like those. The old old ancient WC2 games had the Farstriders painting half of their face ffs.

I rather get that type of aesthetic design, something more “Hordish”… take the inspiration NOT from Alleria, BUT from the current warpaint options on the Horde races. That would make both the Velf and the Belf options visually distinctive (and we can explain the Horde ones as a result of sharing space with Orcs and Trolls for a decade and counting).

The feathered wings on the old Felblood NPCs could work. If Fel caused that “mutation” without the “I absorbed a literal demon” explanation involved, then maybe those could be the explained as the “natural mutation evolution” for Belves.

I actually don´t like them so much… half of the time I´m not sure if those are actual tattoos or merely a weird shirt he put on. Too… plain.

Ever since I saw this I’ve wanted a long flowy hairstyle. I would make that my hair in an instant and love every second of it

I’m loving all the options I’m seeing here. I would also like to see some more options open up for DH Blood Elves. More variations in skin color for the scaled or fel scarred skin. More fel scarred pattern options as well as tattoo options.

I also support the idea of more beards and make jewelry options. Why can’t I have a nose or lip piercing, or ear gauges?

I chose lightforged as a term because that’s what was suggested as.

I don’t agree that the term and features should necessarily be avoided as to not step on another race’s toes when we’re not afforded the same respect.

That said I will review this thread for new things and update the post when I have the energy which I don’t have right now.

The blood elves must play at odd hours because they are no more represented in game when I play than the other races.

OMG thank you soooo much for this post!!! I was watching a bunch of plastic surgery stuff and it struck me when I looked at my elf…I really want to be able to customize part of her separately. I want to change her eye shape , her brow type shape , her lips independantly ect…WE WERE promise this xpac would be the cust xpac so far all we have are RAIDS RAIDS…seems like they are putting this beautiful game on maintenance mode:(.

Like the fact we didn’t get tattoos/war paint is baffling. That’s what we had since WC2. Feathers and warpaint defined the Farstriders, which makes up 1/3rd of the blood Elven army, so it’s not like it’s niche. Why didn’t we get arcane tattoos similar to the Nightborne? Rommath literally has the tattoos.

Like it didn’t make sense to be that 6 races got incredible customization options that matched several different aesthetics of their races. Then there’s blood elves who got 6 new haircuts and the females got jewelry. Like… what?

There’s so much that can be added for blood elves, it has me so heated we got forgotten.

Also, blood elf druids plz.

I’m a bit indifferent on class additions to Blood Elves, as long as it doesn’t come at the expense of customization.

People already equate popularity with reasoning for our lack of customization.
