blizzard sold the expa saying that the new customizations would be very important. I hope they comply with it.
I support all these great ideas.
At this point though for me the only way I’d really feel like Blood Elves were compensated for giving all our appearances to void elves would be Druid Blood Elves.
I’m going to install the model viewer and export something and try cutting it apart with a timer on to see how much time it takes one of these days.
Morning post in support of theme appropriate tattoos and scars.
If void elves can get something drastically different from what they came with because their faction co- has it, Blood Elves should be able to have scars like Lor’themar.
I doubt that. Though I’m apparently the second most common poster in Lore’s thread…
There were many things to argue I guess…
Still trying to keep void options alive… Don’t think they’ll show up anytime soon obviously…
I’ll continue trying to help out the handful of AR threads, Worgen customization, this thread and my own probably…
I’d be curious to know this too.
Hope we see something… Feels real bad where blood elves are.
So they’ve said 5 “natural” hair colours are now coming for void elves. Can we blood elves muster up some passion to keep our race visually distinct? They’ve basically handed our race to the alliance.
i mean. you can hope they are locked to skin tone or tentacle hair but idk… cats out of the bag, lore is officially pointless
I wish Blood Elves had some sort of void corruption customization.
This 100% and i started as a blood elf hunter. But she doesn’t feel special any more cause I see alliance that look like clones
I want the developers to give us our own faction of Eredar that will be the only compromise I will accept now.
i’d like to see big blood elves, as the title of this thread implies
Eredar for Horde feels like it could make sense somewhat.
It just seems to me this is opening the flood gates for the frothing void elf fanbase to make even more ridiculous demands. I’ve seen requests for questlines to get rid of “void” in their names, to Paladins, to making Quel’thalas neutral or Alliance. It won’t end with these people
Yes, I would love this, I always have wanted a Draenei Warlock and well I can never have enough Warlocks.
darn I’m outta likes! lol
Okay since now there’s pretty much complete HE fantasy on VE’s, it’s time to push for that Dark Ranger/San’layn fantasy on Blood Elves.
The name of the game seems to reuse assets -all that VE’s have gotten are already existing assets for BE’s save for 3 eyes- So, I think unlocking DK skins + the NPC red eyes would give us a lot of that undead BE fantasy.

All that’s needed is some unlocking, everything is already on the BE model.
Worried about Undead Elven paladins? Don’t! Do we worry about Lightforged Draenei Shadow priests or Void Elf Holy Priests?
What if, now hear me out, that destroyed part of Silvermoon were rebuilt and revamped and given to the High, I mean Void Elves? It’s almost too perfect with that land just sitting there unused!
the high elves probably already rebuilt it. we see a silvermoon locked in time pre restored sunwell and they wouldnt let any void elves return after alleria
Wasn’t there a lore reason why it hadn’t been rebuilt, like the ground or area was scoured and couldn’t be used? I vaguely remember something along those lines in questing but it’s been years. Although that’s not to say that in the years that have passed they couldn’t figure something out, especially now with being close allies with the Nightborne. If there’s a way to magic away whatever is affecting that part of the city you’d think those two races would be able to figure it out lol.
I have pushed Fel Blood and San’layn because any basic elf customization that we get will be on the table for Void Elves. But even if we were to get new infused elf customization it won’t change much. Our identity will still be diminished, the dynamic shifted and now our lore will be split.
Any of this customization is just a band-aid fix for an infected wound.
I don’t have much of a problem with the lore being split in all honesty. It’s one of the reasons I was an advocate for High Elves on the Alliance. Sure they’d look very similar, but that could be a great vessel for storytelling as to WHY they are different. And how they continue to evolve into completely different cultures on their respective factions. Add to that there would be some animosity on both sides that keep the distrust going and you could have some really good stories. Now that’s assuming Blizzard could pull all that off which with their recent track record I couldn’t blame anyone for lacking faith that it would turn out well.
