Ooooh yeah I left that one a while ago x.x Well, we have some good contenders for ideas that I enjoy, particularly phoenix, San’layn/Dark Ranger, and felbloods. Felbloods don’t get talked about as much. … But I dunno. I considered a thread on it and still do from time to time. But ugh… after the drama, yeah, it’s hard to muster up the willpower.

I with you all on the cat mount possibly being indicative of whatever the next expansion is about. I’d also like to take the time to tell you that the cat could be symbolic of light, life or both. Cats are associated with the Norse Goddess of femininity, magic, war and death, Freyja as she uses two male cats named Bygul and Trjegul to pull her chariot.
Freyja was also closely associated with the sun and was the light source for her own realm of Folkvanger. Not to mention the jewel called Brisingamen which translates to fire jewel. In ancient Egypt cats were symbolic of the sun as the Goddess Bastet was the daughter of Ra with whom she would ride across the sky with each day.
These late expansion store mounts usually are related to the next expansion such as the Sylverian Dreamer and the Runestag. The cat mount also has a very Sin’dorei vibe and the fact that it’s description mentions both autumn and Azeroth could imply something to do with Quel’thalas, specifically Eversong forest as it is perpetually autumnal.
