This is a big “you think you, but you dont” post ive ever seen.
Allow me to explain.
From personal experience in northdale, the ONLY server available to play on with 15k players peak daily. Horde majority of course. What happened is, one small circle of alliance would form a premade and every battleground you joined as horde, it doesnt matter. WSG week, AB week, AV week, all get steamrolled by the same premade. They out-geared everyone and would rotate weekly to who got R14 and mostly all had their R14 weapons.
WSG sucked, they would 3 cap and none of their players ever died, theyd stay in a group and win the game. Horde got 0 honor.
AB you would think you might at least get SOME honor, but no. They 5 capped and won the game within the first 3 minutes everytime. It was pointless to even queue because the moment you are in, half your team /afk quits because the time to start battleground is longer than the battleground itself. This results with horde getting 0 honor.
AV was actually the most fairest of all. Because even though the battleground will only last for 10 minutes tops, you can at least try and slow them down as they tried to zerg past the middle all the way to the last flag and cap it and kill Drekk with all 4 towers up.
None of the battlegrounds were fun this way. They all sucked. All because there was no opposition to stop this circle of premade china players.
What i am hoping for is, premades get matched against other premades to prevent this from ever happening again. Any group of 5+ or more players will automatically be prioritized to match against other groups of 5+ players. Because its cross-realm, that means premades would just have to try much harder to try and compete vs the regular pug group and itll make pugging more desirable leading to less premades. Because pugging this way would give more honor in the long run than 2 premades facing against each other and neither budging.
