I think people like him make Alliance the better faction, and in a sense I’m grateful for it. Alliance might not have as many of the PvPers, but the people that joined Alliance to PvP tend to know what’s up I think. A lot of those are your veterans that aren’t scared of a real fight, or of playing with a non-meta racial.
If the populations are about even, 45-55.
And both factions queue up an even amount.
And both factions actually have similar numbers of people who PvP.
Queue times would be similar.
I really should not need to spell it out this much, but I guess being surrounded by the small portion of Alliance PvPers muddies your perception.
And yes, my source on the opinions of Alliance players who appear to dislike PvP is going to be where they complain about PvP. Not sure what empirical evidence you’re searching for, when even in the threads of Alliance “bragging” about their wins, it still comes down to blaming Horde racials for a lot of Horde PvP woes.
Wait till everyone reaches level 70 first.
The thing is, people are too busy questing or dungeons for exp so they arnt queing.
Tbc is about arenas anyways
No that’s 200 honor for a 20 minute game.
Recount those numbers bud, but this time don’t add in pve servers.
See if 55-45 stands up.
That’s what particularly funny, the racials don’t matter until you get to basically the highest levels of arena play. So horde have stacked their faction for pvp that the vast majority of them won’t even be good enough to or even in a position for it to matter.
Which is why all the actual rank 1 players go horde for the most part.
Never once claimed to be better. In fact, if you look at my original comment, you’d see I’m mocking Alliance players for thinking Horde racials automatically make Horde better.
There’s also the fact that I have Classic alts with more PvP kills than my old retail mains, so stalking my armory would tell you very little.
My only claim is that majority of Alliance players do not engage with PvP when compared to the Horde.
PvE server players are perfectly capable of queueing as well, and this comment only contributes further to my claim of Alliance not being willing to engage with PvP.
This. Us “normies” are still leveling. I’m not even half way. A lot of people don’t want to dungeon farm to hit 70 and questing is still very busy. Once more players hit 70 queues will get alittle better. Never expect sub 10 minutes as horde though. Go alliance if you can’t wait.
As for the more honor, I think people are right. It’s the flag caps.
Those people may que but they clearly don’t enjoy pvp, or it isn’t their main focus.
They just aren’t queing like people on a pvp server.
You are trying to add apples and oranges together.
Take away the pve population from both sides and see where the populations actually stand for people who want to pvp.
They’re called meta slaves. They don’t think for themselves and they don’t realize that minmaxing racials has nothing to do with why they never made it to BlizzCon.
Looking at your source it is way off.
It’s saying my server has like 2500 players yet we had around 16 layers on opening day.
My server still has layers.
Your source is a lie.
I play on a PvE server. Spent years playing exclusively on PvP servers in Retail. I enjoy BGs, not gankfests, on either side.
And our war room was filled to the brim throughout most of Classic with people queueing, non boosted pools of about 1500-2k during the last 6 months of Classic.
The topic is BG queue times. Opportunities for world PvP don’t come into play there.
capture more flags?
Ikr? Answer seems obvious. It may say the Horde won but we all know who actually won, even OP. Play smarter next time.
Classic alliance players are actually so salty and passive aggressive it physically hurts to read.
It’s just a game boys.
afaik ironforge gets its numbers from parses
wich… well a lot of people are not doing because of leveling
it is by no means a failsafe system but sadly the only one we get access to since blizz banned the addon that used to do it, forgot its name
Once again your source is way off.
The picture is pretty clear.
Those totals should prolly be around 10x more.
Which even at 55-45 is a massive disparity in the amount of horde VS alliance queing.
Even if 50% of both sides que you will have THOUSANDS of horde waiting in a que.
Yea I know how it works. It’s just severely not updated.
Like I said Whitemane had over 15 layers on opening day, that’s a lot more than 2500 people rofl.
Exactly. Bonus honor is based on objectives. Most people treat every BG as a team deathmatch then compare bonus instead of total honor.
