It used to take considerable skill and gearing to make the spec work. You were a very under-acknowledged asset that shocked the hell outta people with damage and assisting others (bubble tossing, buffing, emergency heals, cleansing, etc) when you were a team player and did make it work. Now it’s…well, what it is.

This is the best way to describe it. It was a very easy job to be “lazy” with and it was not common to find one who will utilize all the tools in their toolkit. I’ve ran into some.

I remember meeting a paladin that never got resurrection. There were a lot of not team player types in LK when it was the flavor.

Still are. They are less a hybrid spec now that assists others and more a warrior of the holy shtick. Plus they’ve gotten rid of a lot of our assist skills. Divine Intervention, Blessing of Sac, raid wide buffs…

What acronym does Deadmines get?

Deadmines = DM or VC

Which side are you on. I’m a DM ride or die guy.

Pretty much, but belf (bonus is they’re fire mage) gets priority (unless I see a certain Tauren ret) although Zandalari paladins are moving up that list!

DM for me also. IDK why people called it VC when DM made mode sense.

Big debate for me on classic is ‘why tf are they not making the unarmored mounts available’

They stated that they didn’t want to make people rush to get to 60 so that they could get the mounts before they’re removed in phase 2. I can dig it.

Then you keep them till phase three starts. Not just remove the staple ride look for Vanilla. The originals where available for several months.

Just to note I will argue this point to death. I want my Palomino lol.

On horde, people said deadmines. It was rare that anyone went and did it aside for twinks. I think I only did it with 5 people one time before LFG came in. Horde did wailing caverns or sfk.
