Shelves were fully stocked at my local Meijers store when I was there a couple days ago.
Local Walgreens and CVS have been sold out of hand sanitizer though.
From what Iāve read, the toilet paper paranoia largely stems from the fact that China is the one of the worlds largest suppliers of toilet paper. With the quarantines disrupting manufacturing in China, there were/are fears that it will result in a TP shortage. Then the typical herd mentality kicks in and everyone starts panic buying. The videos of people fighting in stores over a package of TP have been good entertainment though

Weāve actually been thinking we already had this crud in Dec. Seattle has had it running around community since mid Jan (gov claim). Yeah, thatās conservative, anyone medical knows how the gov claims work. Iām betting itās been earlier than that. At any rate, got super sick in Dec. Dry cough, turned to chest, turned to pneumonia.
Pretty good chances of that. It often happens at work, people not accustomed to dealing with things like fleas or bed bugs, get a shock of it, or hear about it, all the sudden theyāre itchy all over.
Well, I think people are thinking about being quarantinedā¦ and nothing worse than being home with little to no TP to use after you pee or poop is my guess.
I saw this on GD, thought it was fitting for the current events.
