I started one week late, done two weeks of islands and still don’t have my last essence slot. Feels like a grind to me.
Been doing dailies to try and catch up, still don’t have max level cloak. Later ranks are likely going to take many runs with many vessels. When it’s boring content it’s a grind. Don’t get me wrong it’s alright but already bored of it at rank 8 cloak.
Yup, hence grinds. Going out and doing nazjatar dailies is super fun.

Well yeah but the amount of corruption I’ve got the cloak is capped at a limit that you won’t be able to reduce it for many many weeks to come.
I much rather no corruption on my toon, I pump the same amount of damage because those tentacles or infin stars ruin any logical poly cc chain.

I’ve taken a little over a year of time off BfA (because it sucks) and still my neck is 76 with zero grinding done for it.
Good news - you don’t need max level cloak, and if you have the game sense and capability beyond that of a half-brained chimp then you’ll still do fine without it.
This goes back to us pointing out that the gear grind that you whine about is your own problem. If you want end-game gear then stop screeching when you need to do more than 4 emissary WQs for it.
