Easily fixed by just making every class broken again.
Edit: Which might happen if I get demonic portal and death coil baseline again…

To each their own, but my memories of PvP in Legion are trying to do wPvP quests to get the prestigious war mount and the zones being camped by pve geared dks and disc priests. PvE gear was miles ahead of PvP gear. (Never forget Venruki’s thread). Classes were pruned to the point it was a shell of the class/spec I’d played for years. Templates were bland and felt like Blizzard wanted to take an easy out on PvP. I leveled 3 characters in legion too, but rng gear kept me playing only one.
In WoD I had 5 characters at max level. They all had gear so switching between them was a nice option.
I don’t care much about PvE content but I do understand that WoD failed on that end. It just didn’t feel like they neglected PvPers to the extent the next two expansions did though. Just my opinion, of course.
My interest in retail is at an all time low which makes it that much harder to get hyped about SL. I will probably give it a fair shot, but that’s subject to change.

This was my favorite part honestly. Was so fun to play everything.
Legion wpvp was a joke. Bfa is also bad however I guess for some it’s better at the expense of ours.
Aka the giant gearing post in legion they didn’t really address the whole expansion… Definitely feels like we have been given any thought lately.

I think I just enjoy gearing more when gearing is how your progress. Legion added an artifact power grind and BfA added azerite power, both of which locked spells and abilities behind them. Then add pvp honor talents and it’s another grind just to earn back spells you’ve had previously.
Playing classic has made me remember how much I enjoy playing with the same spells in PvP or PvE. None of my spells disappear in PvE or require a resource grind to get.

I gotta say, Classic made me appreciate retail so much more. The leveling was fun for a while but that’s about all I enjoyed.

Same, I only dipped my toes in Classic, played it casually for like 2 weeks or so… but nah. Quickly lost interest - I’m just too used to the “modern conveniences” of retail at this point.
I just can’t live without flying and insta-travel, I don’t wanna deal with a bunch of random trash mobs between point A and my destination.
Also, it’s such a massive timesink to do anything in Classic vs retail, so that’s a deal-breaker for me as someone who enjoys playing alts/different classes.
I can’t imagine how far behind I would be on things like essences and reps right now if I had taken 4-5 months “off” to commit to Classic, kinda glad I’ve stayed up-to-date in retail.

Eh, if you remember my DH and hunter were both in the bottom tier pvp random drop gear and the rest was from questing that i slowly replaced and after 4 WQs is was in pvp tearing things up. Legions alt friendliness didnt kick in till a bit later but when it did nothing could beat it.
BFA azerite grinds is miles slower than legion artifact grind. In legion 4 wqs got you maxed on a weapon and almost to the infinite trait. BFA you get your azerite up, then you have to farm the right traits on gear, then you have to farm the right essences and now you have to farm the cloak and also farm the right corruptions. BFAs grind= bad, legions = really good pace.
The wpvp was designed to be busted in legion. That was stated by blizz when they said they wanted it to be “the wild west”. BFAs wpvp is actually really nice just wish the scaling was tighter.
Um, that seems a bit dumb.
It was already 50% nerf in pvp. This just added pve in with it. It either didn’t change it at all or buffed it by 10% in pvp because of a pre-existing 20% nerf. The wording isn’t completely clear.
Ok that makes more sense.

Aww, part of me is jelly, I love baby days. Part of me dreads it like the plague - baby days turn into toddler days! lol My youngest turns 5 end of March. I’m seeing the light at the end of the toddler tunnel. Let’s hope it’s not an oncoming train…
I bounced to Retail this week to check out the happenings. It’s been interesting. The Lorax (Magni) has been monopolizing my time. Good grief, it’s like an old content review!

I usually love exploring the new story line content of wow but this whole old god thing is a complete bore to me. Fortunately, after you get through the initial time sinks, the weekly maintenance for this patch is relatively low. I’ve been able to juggle time in both wow and eso.
