Hi there. I know some of you don’t like me on a variety of my toons but this came up today and although i am used to it and embrace a nice argument/debate; if it’s meaningless then it’s no fun :slight_smile:

What should if some guy keeps logging onto alternate toons to insult me on how much damage I did and whatever. (I get that this isn’t an actual “insult” as he is just triggered because he got called out, etc.)

He’s logged onto 3 different toons now after I ignore them to continue that sort of thing.

I don’t mind the conflict however but when they log in, send one message, then log out and go onto a different toon; it’s kind of sad that they care so much or are that upset that they need to do that.

Isn’t that some sort of harassment since he’s circumventing my original ignore?

If you ignored them and they are actively circumventing that, please report it as Ongoing harassment. Be sure to provide the names of the characters involved so that a Game Master can check and be sure to continue to ignore any additional character.

Thanks - I just reported it on each toon that he wrote me on, as most of them seemed to have a variety of ascii content in them; not surprisingly :slight_smile:

There are two very key things required here.

First off, put the toon on ignore. This should work account wide. So if he is using other toons to message you he is actively circumventing the ignore.

Second, and just as, if not more important, never respond. Once you put the initial toon on ignore, do not respond. If you respond this is viewed as an ongoing conversation, and not harassment.

Oh and totally what Vrak said. I guess he knows what he is talking about. :stuck_out_tongue:

As for your opening sentence, I don’t hate you. I dont even know you haha.

Even if I did not like you as a poster, I would still answer to the best of my abilities though.

OK thanks won’t respond. I never was even able to respond to his other toons since he either ignored me or got his one "message in and then logged out. Maybe he has other accounts?

The problem I have is I don’t mind engaging him the reason I ignored him was only because he kept repeating the same message over and over again. I can handle the “triggered losers” but if it’s nonsense then whatever LOL.

Meh. Still would not change my answer. Everyone deserves a proper answer here, regardless. I have seen adament trolls come to this forum with a legit question and have it answered.

Anyway, it is all fine and well to try to have a conversation, but the moment you press that ignore player option, never respond to anything else trying to circumvent.

Also, know Blizzard takes ongoing harassment seriously. There was a player in here a few weeks ago I think that him and his friend got a 3 day suspension for it. Not silence, game suspension.
