No, none of us do. That is the point. Unless you monitored your friend 24/7 for months/years, you can’t possibly know. All we can do is wait for updates at this point.
We literally do. This “monitored your friend 24/7” is a ridiculous burden of proof that you completely invented for your own purposes. You don’t have to meet that to understand a pal’s behaviors and habits. Hell, I know people who have afk’d through bg’s, habitually. But this isn’t that.

I received a 2 week ban a few months ago for “BG non-participation”. It was ridiculous. I did grind about 30k honor in ~3 days. I watched Netflix on one monitor and queue’d AV on the other. I’d ride down to Galv and heal, then ride to IBT and capture it then ride down to Drek and heal tanks. I was never once AFK. I participated in every battle. I was top healing in MOST of them. Two week ban…
I tried to appeal it by urging Blizzard to check my guild chat logs, where I was frequently chatting with my buddies. But to no avail. They denied my appeal.
I wish this one was two weeks. Everyone’s first time offense here getting a 30 day ban. I do think there was a mistake made.
Would like to know if anyone’s ban was denied or overturned.
Most likely going to be at least a week before we hear anything on our tickets.
Pre-patch has been a nightmare lol.

Na botters get 6 months for their first ban. I would rather have bots that do damage than the AFKers…
Agree - been playing this game since 2008 - clean record no issues. 30-day ban for playing AV the same way the meta has been. Wild.

Anyone who is reporting maliciously because someone is a lower level or anyone false reporting people actually playing the map should be banned for thrice as long or outright perma-banned.
Disgusting behavior by disgusting individuals.
Also, the automated systems need to be looked at, especially if you arent going to punish false reporters.

When did I say I have been reporting people. In som there was loads of people getting banned for afking in AV, and guess what? 99% of them were afking, the only ones who weren’t were extremely toxic and bringing it upon themselves by purposefully saying unnecessary things that would get a bad reaction from anyone for their own enjoyment.
Because thats extra work. They want you to show them.
Yes I do. If enough people report you for you name you get a forced name change. It’s 100% automated. A ban wave like this where thousands of people get hit, DK players with mere days of existence, there is no way Blizzard is reviewing every single ban, the only possible conclusion is that it is automated.
While we’re on this topic, the automation isn’t intelligent either, like other video game companies do. If it was, they could have solved the bot problem a long time ago. It just has to be entirely based of player reports. If there is any human making a decision in this entire process, that person is not doing a good job.
