Agreed, BFA is the worst because of the class design. Or rather the lack of class design.

How can you say that when Warlords took abilities litteraly straight out of your spell book. Classes lost 3-4 spells on average. Please explain to me how class design is better in WoD than BFA. WoD had some of the WORST class design in this game. Every class in the game was ruined after MoP. Balance Druids had a moving eclipse bar, are you even aware of this or do you come to the forums just to make baseless comments?

I honestly wouldn’t believe you if you said you played this game considering the outrageous comments you’re making.

I’ve been pruned in Warlords, Legion, and again in BfA, but BfA was BY FAR the worst. I lost the slow I’ve had since vanilla, I lost my DPS cooldown, I lost my magic mitigation, I lost everything.

I got pruned more in BfA than in any other expansion, by far. Hands down, no contest.

Overall cataclysm would have to be in the discussion for worst. Raids were bad, world and quests destroyed, dungeon difficulty was ridiculous for heroics.

There is no new content i am excited about since BFA launch other than the usual pushing the narrative forward- which alone would not be worth the sub when games like swtor/GW2 does better being f2p .

Everything feels like an upkeep that gets destroyed instantly with catchups. Generally new dungeons or vendors each expansions would give you a few missing pieces and towards the end patch is where you can get full catch up sets.

But i have been able to get full sets since the first patch , makes me feel like any time spent is time wasted in a way that it doesn’t feel rewarding . Cosmetics feel like a huge grind as well and are themselves not worth it, that 750 badges for a re-textured ground mount with armor?? Every alliance rep mount being a re-textured horse with assets copied from previous expansions .

Even the forums are getting stale in bfa.

WoD > BFA by a mile imo. Class design is the most important aspect to me and BFA is by far the worst we’ve ever seen. I actually don’t know what they are doing and I don’t think the devs know either.

WoD probably, while the content that was there was generally well received it just had so little that it is kind of embarrassing to called it an expansion. And to be fair to BFA, part of the problem is just people are starting to notice the issues that come with the age of the game and some serious lack of investment into the game itself rather than just expansion specific features.

It’s no contest…how do you even ask that. WoD was way worse. In a few months we’ll have more content (if we don’t already) in bfa then we had in WoD, and at that point bfa will only be 3/4ths done.

BFA is one of my favorite expansions, probably the best after Wrath. The only down side is the Azerite system, other than that it has amazing zones, good music, the return/center staging of some very old characters, much better daily quests than any expansion previously, great looking gear/transmog, cool new mounts, lots of stuff on the shop

I also like that this expansion is staying on Azeroth instead of going into outerspace, there is a general lack of tech and alien stuff, its more geared to the very loosely based off of medieval stuff that OG wow and warcraft was modeled after.

It’s a tough call.

WoD got shortchanged by issues behind the scenes, I feel. It had potential that was partly implemented but then cut short in really obvious and painful ways.

BfA, on the other hand, seems designed from the ground up to be as disappointing, tedious, and unrewarding as possible while still keeping players coming back. It’s an ode to metrics, RNG, and player manipulation.

Based on that, I give it to BfA. WoD was bad but with good intentions, BfA doesn’t even feel like it had that much going for it in development.

And this is why I like Scuzz.

You must have just started playing you can not even be typing this with a straight face… MOP>BFA Legion > BFA a pile of POOP > BFA The WQ are the exact same as LEGION Arts and Music only go so far The Xmog and gear looks like crap… im betting your main is either a MVP or you may be ION…

Lets look at the upsides of WoD and bfa…
Wod:
-Good raids
-fantastic transmogs
-classes felt amazing and each class was unique
-the legendary ring quest was fun at some points
-mythic dungeons
Bfa:
-Legion 2.0
Now, lets look at the cons of each expac.
Wod:
-2 raid tiers
-Garrisons
-pvp was out of wack with balance
-Nothing to do outside of raiding (con at the time, but I wish we went back to this)
Bfa:
-Literally take the bad parts of Legion, take the opposites of the goods from wod and put them into one expac and you get bfa.

BFA is the worst expansion. At least WoD had good class design. This expansions class design is horrible and laced down even further with the GCD.

I’ve been playing since TBC and I have leveled all classes pretty much every expack save legion, I really don’t know how people can be so legitimately unhappy with BFA. Tell me honestly the zones, the gear, aren’t amazing? I am biased against alien locals so WOD and Outland both were never places I liked but that aside the atheistic of BFA is amazing (maybe not Vol Dun I don’t like desert tilesets)

No not an MVP and I have had my complaints too but this expack is not one of them. Class design is never something to fall in love with cause it changes every expansion, love it now and you’ll be let down later, hate it now and you’ll find it great later, I could care less, I liked my Frost DK when Frost was a tank spec, I like it now when its a DPS. If you’ve been playing as long as I have you’ve seen a lot come and go, personally I liked talent trees and glyphs but they are gone never to return no point in getting attached to that stuff, I focus on my gear look, my battle pets, and just keeping a semi end game geared char to go solo old content and casual pvp
