Bfa is most up to date and modern wow expansion.

Pretty is only skin deep. A game can be up to date in terms of gameplay but still suck. Modern does not automatically mean that its good. There are still many bad ideas in gaming. They admitted early on that Azerite Traits were bad, and their fix was pretty much “juggling numbers” and “removing actually fun traits”.

They admitted BfA had issues. BfA LAUNCHED with them openly saying Shaman was not ready. They admitted BfA had issues. Warfronts were broken from day one, Blizzard never properly fixed it. BfA had issues.

And what was Legion? A good expansion.

And while I would agree, it still had issues. No such thing as perfect. It was good, but it didn’t live up to the quality of some of their older expansions.

BfA was an okay expansion, hampered by a poorly written plot, forced faction conflict that never really went anywhere, at least one entire zone on both sides that felt awkward and incomplete.

Stormsong Valley is very much a bipolar zone. If you follow the obvious storyline for Lord Stormsong it completes with the dungeon being unlocked. Everything after that feels like filler. That’s like probably 70% of the zone.

The Horde had Zuldazar that felt like a huge amount of up and down. I hated questing in it on my Hordie until flying was unlocked. And then of course we have the nightmare of getting around, Dazar’alor.

So yeah, BfA was a mixed bag. It was an ok product.

I enjoyed and played BFA a lot.
In fact, i enjoyed all expansions since in started playing in WotLK.

I enjoy WoW, it’s a great game.
Else i wouldn’t be here…

This is how we got into this mess in the first place.

BFA is the result of focusing less on solid enjoyable content and more on how to maximize how long people are subbed for. They’re a business, they’re in it to make money, but it’s really disrespectful how they plan content patches for QoL changes to hit just after subs start dropping. And the corruption vendor is just a way to keep people playing while they wait for their ideal corruptions to appear. @ me.

Its so fun. If you compare bfa to classic, its not even close it blows it out the water. All the new things. All the people who are saying bfa is not great just have a bad taste in games. They generally want the game to to be unfun. Seriously. I’m glad they are not in control of this game.
They really have a bad idea of what a game should be played like. So Ill enjoy shadowlands. I know my friends will enjoy the game. And most people probably will.
People actually just hate on things because its trendy. Like just because someone is hating on something, someone will jump on and hate on it too because its trendy. Like furries. People dont know why they hate them. They just hate them to be funny, and keep a long line of doing what someone else did.
They do the same thing with BFA.
So blizzard, ignore the naysayers. The game is great. Keep doing you. Keep doing what you guys do best. The naysayers on this forum matter not. Thanks guys.
