BFA Flying Achieved

Objectively false.

I never quit once when we had flying given to us at max level. Since WoD I’ve taken many breaks from the game.

It wasn’t an objective statement. It was a comment on the OP’s subject view.

You generalized by saying if flying was available right at max level people would get bored and quit. I’ve never done that and I’d buy 2 years worth of sub time upfront if they guaranteed flying would be available right at max level.

I didn’t say “people.” I said “you.”

Did that person say they’d quit if they got flying at max level? For some people doing the open world activities is much more fun when you can fly.

I would LOVE to be able to FLY. I have not ( or do not understand ) Flying since MoP. I am NOT good at Dungeons/ Raids/ PvP , So I SOLO play a lot. I like to be able to fly to do the Quests ( because I SOLO so often ) and I think I should be able to Enjoy what I pay for ( this game ). We need a Quest ( no more than 3 parts ) to achieve Flying in ALL of the X-pacs. If not that, then lets us BUY it like we always have at the trainer for a REASONABLE amount.

Problem is I rejoined when flight was available and found myself behind in their HoA grind and experience in instances. I’m not going to inflict myself on a random group in dungeons nor random BGs under those conditions, I just level characters, professions, and do basic gearing from WQs. And, why when they’re just going to do the same thing next xpac?

Chelleybee is a very dedicated troll. He/She responded to just about every post that replied to his/her earlier posts. You gotta admire that kind of dedication.

If mobility is the issue maybe you should walk around instead of using a mount. I bet that’s not the issue though.

I would REALLY like to find out how to fly in all X-pacs since Panda Land. Is there an easier way to get it ? I think PF2 needs some toning DOWN ( i.e. 50 World Quests ). I hardly EVER join groups so the need to adjust some of the Dungeons/ Raids/ and some Quests to to the " Soloists " Players. Just what I think about it. I also thought about something else, I would like an add - on or in game adjustment so OI can check my ALL OF MY assignment boards ( e.g. Garrison/ Class Hall/ Shipping board ).

I recently got PF2 as well, and I did the same thing as the OP. I had to take a few days break because my god was I burned out.

This was the first pathfinder I’ve gone after, as I left after they took the sky from us initially.

I also never, ever want to see Naz again. Good lord, grinding for that rep made me absolutely HATE that zone; having to slog through every damn mob in the zone to get to that one for the world quest, or worse, getting lost in the maze of paths and pull everything on the way. Which is kinda sad, because I really liked the zone initially.

Grinding world quests at max level, with the storyline done, that’s not ‘experiencing content’ and that excuse for withholding flying is just nonsense to me. I’ve seen it. All of it. Well, except from above, of course.

Know what’s now ‘experiencing content’ for me?
Going back to Kul’Tiras with flying. The mountains, the snow, the skyline is just breathtaking and it’s so, so relaxing. I spend hours flying around, taking screenshots, watching sunsets, watching snowstorms and sitting atop mountains to look at the town below.

I get to see the world sprawled out in front of me, towering structures in the distance, swirling storms and oceans that run forever. I get to see some of the most dangerous places in zones that I have no business being on the ground near, so I get glimpses of places I want to go eventually.
Flying makes me excited to explore the world. Edges of it that people don’t go to, towering peaks that no one’s at.

Flying, for people like me, is not about skipping anything.
It’s about opening up a far larger, more beautiful, immersive world.

I spend far more time, and money, in game when there’s flying.
I just wish getting pathfinder didn’t make me want to stop playing.

I play solo. I have all three Pathfinders which were earned during their appropriate expansions. I’ve also earned them after the fact on other accounts that didn’t have flying.

Pathfinder is simple. You just play the game. It’s an easy goal for casuals to aim for. Legion’s was a little more complicated because it was tied in with your character’s class hall, so your class made a difference in the ease of getting it. WoD and BfA are easy-peasey.

Once you earn Pathfinder, ALL your characters, present and future, can fly from the moment they enter an expansion. They don’t have to wait until max level. They don’t have to pay any gold. Two of the Pathfinder achieves award mounts as well.

All Pathfinder parts are available right now, so you don’t have to wait most of a year for a second part to come out. There’s literally no reason not to work on Pathfinder if you’re a casual solo player. Unless, of course, you’re just too lazy to play the game. In which case you should save yourself money and simply unsub.

You just play the game, exactly how the devs want you to play, exactly as long as the devs want you to play. Get as far as the devs will allow you to get each day. Then, wait for the rest of the game to be released so you can play again exactly what the devs want you to play of it, for as long as they want you to play it, for no more than they will allow you to get of it. Flying is dev laziness, not player.

I should add that I never do any rep beyond emissaries. I don’t care how many WQs are up. I do my 3 or four and then move on to something else. I play no longer (and no shorter) than I wish.

That said, I totally agree with those who say there should be other ways to earn rep besides WQs. Tabards would be a good start.

Same here I resub’d 2 accounts because the gate to flying was down! yet before that was unsub’d lol

I do this between flying gates! unsub after part 1, resub when part 2 is available, I vote with my wallet!

Have to crawl before you can walk have to walk before you can fly. have to fly before you can …? transcend

That is normal they burn people out on unfun grinds. I felt the same way and took time off. Still have no desire to do 8.2 content though.

Congratulations. You won the game.

Exactly!
Currently playing Path of Exile. So much fun.
Still no desire to log into WoW.

And the irony is Im grinding my rump off on two new characters in MoP every single day and loving it. The same grind Ive done before, but its actually enjoyable and not life consuming the way they made BFA to be.

I wake up in the morning looking forward to doing my grinding in Pandaria.
When I think of grinding in BFA I feel a migraine coming on.
