Please explain to me what hiding your profile does from IRL information?
Other than hiding your mythic + and raid progress of course…

Here’s a hint for you, if you have to look at someones profile to decide if you will listen to them, and then use their lack of a profile to try and discredit them, that is what we call a logical fallacy. Logical Fallacies are what silly people use when they have no legitimate argument.
Warlords of Draenor is still the champion and I don’t even play BFA anymore.
The content you did in BFA is garbage. That’s why you feel BFA is garbage. You are just a World Quest/LFR guy. You dont know how fun is Mythic+10 and above and Heroic/Mythic Raiding.
Heroic Warfront is ok. How I wish Blizz could have made Mythic Warfront where the opposing NPC army crushes lowbie/average players.
Island Expedition should be ok if Blizz forced players to do its Mythic version (not heroic). But imposing Mythic would also offend people who hates PvP. Blizz can never win. As it is, I am ok with it just to farm for Titan Residuum treasures. You dont know Titan Residuum? It’s becoz you are just an World Quest/LFR guy.
Azerite pieces is the extension of your Class. It opens customization of your Class extra abilities. Add Essences, it gives your toon more customized abilities. If you dont know this, no wonder your BFA experience sucks. Your toon gets better and better when you play more on BFA. You are just a WQ/LFR guy. No wonder your toon has limited boring abilities.
Dungeon Finder is the best game mechanics that was introduced. Raiding thru Dungeon Finder was the best thing that ever happened to WoW to me. WoD doesnt have those. It started on Legion. BFA is just Legion 2.

I was a heroic raider back in Legion. I got my +15 done each week. It burned me out.
Every fun and flavorful thing from Legion was stripped away in BFA. Class identity, class sets, WQs are less lucrative, missions from the table are less lucrative, islands are boring, warfronts are even more boring. BFA is terrible all around. Raiding might be fine but just not my cup of tea right now.
I’m not being toxic, nor am I being a troublemaker.
People who only do LFR and world quests have no clue what’s wrong with the game and never will.

You are absolutely, without question being toxic.
Once a raider, not always a raider…So if someone say, used to be a hardcore raider, and now just does LFR and/WQ, they still know more about what is and is not wrong with the game. Point is, you have no idea whatsoever about anyone else and their past, what they know/don’t know etc.
You stating that because you cannot see someone’s profile, that they must be ONLY doing the things which you are choosing to deride, is toxic. Your attitude is toxic. Just because YOU don’t think so only emboldens my point.
Point is, just be a little more mindful.
100% of the time, hiding ones profile is because they have zero progress on raiding or mythic+. Sorry, but that’s just what I’ve encountered 9 times out of 10.

Well there is some truth to that, but I don’t think it’s in every single case, but a lot of the time yes. Don’t know if my profile is still hidden, but I used to hide my profile as didn’t like people commenting on my private business, as to me getting personal on someone isn’t making an argument.
What’s private though?
Like your profile literally shows your achieves, your gear, your progress… Like I don’t understand.
At least WoD was alt-friendly, essences are the worst system this game has ever had.
Your comments, the dates of those comments etc. So there is certainly information to be gained about your IRL activities in the profile. My question is why you think you have some kind of right to see anyone’s profile.
