The directors will probably report to the higher ups, see BFA is a real success look at all these subscription numbers. I think they got more now than last August.

It’s pretty clear it’s to test the layers system. How it rolls over to new layers, and to watch how players try and game the system to get in front of mobs.

The server world should consist of two layers, one for each continent… with each layer capped at approx 1500 peeps (3000 total for the world). Each time a layer reaches cap, a new one will be spawned and populated.

They might also want to gauge the reaction of players when that many peeps try to tag a hundred mobs then wait for 5 minutes.

I came back with a token too, just to test my luck, and ding ding, I’m in the stress test at least. I played original beta, so maybe that helped.

I got the option in the client almost two hours BEFORE I got the email.

I got in too, and as hyped as we all are… let’s remember to do a good job testing. Report bugs, try to break things (within reason like in game mechanics) and let’s give them all the help they need to make WOW classic launch as great as we know it can/will be

Got home and clicked on my launcher window to bring it to the forefront, and there was a drop-down box!! I’m pretty sure I didn’t restart the launcher. The drop-down menu was just there the next time I looked at it. It says “Beta & Stress Test: WoW Classic.” It is just for the stress test, though, as there are no servers currently online if I attempt to log in.

My account was created in October of 2005, in case anyone is keeping track of this sort of thing. If an email was sent, it is not in my inbox yet. I am not in the beta. Next best thing, at least! I will be playing the heck outta that 24 hours!!

Everyone it seems there is a problem with no getting the beta thing to show up on the launcher though I have gotten an email
