those specs are prob not the ones you want to be maining going into Shadowlands. Blizz normally comes in heavy handed

To be fair, gushing vendor isnt out yet.

I never pushed :man_shrugging:

You seriously think blizzard gonna heavy hand nerf rogue into the ground?

Even if they do, it won’t last long. WoW’s history suggests Rogues will always remain one of the top picks for PvP, same as Mages and Warlocks.

I like how Sub is playing right now, but the damage in PvP is extremely high and most likely won’t be shipped that way, same with Mages, Warlocks and Shadow.

I really wish Blizzard would deactivate class/spec specific legendaries in PvP and only keep the generic ones (ideally I wanted every single one disabled, but that’s likely not happening at all) if they decide to keep them working in PvP. This way at least the PvE gameplay could be kept as it is with only numbers being tweaked.

Spriest dmg doesn’t feel overwhelming, theyre just tanky. I guess hybrid healing is always a bit high early in expansions. Its mostly the sub rogue legendary that pushes them into mongo territory

I really hope they don’t nerf Spriests that much. Let us be strong for once ffs. Time to see other classes apart from Locks, Mages, Rogues and UH DKs.

I see tons of people complaining about Spriests, when the classes I just mentioned before are as broken in PTR as they are on live and they’ve been as broken for a long time. Let other classes shine some time.

Nope.

If its op, cry until it aint.

Shadow is pretty strong on live though…

Spriest on beta is insane. they are livelords

Sub was insanely good at the beginning of bfa and they slapped it into the ground for a good bit

That being said, I heard sin is doing very little damage on beta so I doubt they leave all rogue specs not being good. At least one is almost always tier 1

Safe bet. As long as 1 spec is good.

Hybruds are a gamble

It’s really weird to me how many people in all the various alphas/betas just pick broken things to beat up people with. None of them are actually players of said specs.

Like, how you gonna fotm on a literal beta? How is that how you decide how to spend your time?

Did 8 hours of beta arena skirms last night and last week.

You’re right. LOTS OF SPRIEST AND SUB ROGUES. However, found a glad healer, queued into some other team glad team playing Demo/Spriest/x (it was either rsham or rdruid) and we kept farming them as warr/disc/x(random DPS who would join, usually a rogue or spriest). Spriest isn’t that bad.

It’s sub rogue that’s disgusting. Unfortunately it seems there are barely any PvP testers as queue times are long and it’s the same like 5 total people. It sucks. Tehy really need to jsut beta inv everyone who posts on the arena forums.

I queued into a boomy once in this session and he was spamming 5k insta cast starsurges on 20k hp pools. Also Convoke the spirits will pretty much 100-0 you.

DHs still do a lot of damage. Actually it feels even higher on beta than retail.

Can’t say much about other classes. Nobody queues them.
