Beta Development Update -- Leatherworking Drums

Using real life currency instead of in game gold does affect the game, not quite as drastic as boosting characters, but regardless it DOES affect the game.

Easily the best news I’ve heard about classic TBC. Keep it rolling guys - see you may18

Excited to see the blue-post silence broken after nearly a month…

Would be more excited to see a blue response to the fresh server initiative. Here’s hoping… lol

Wait, the “Better leg armor” do you mean the enchant to your legs or an actual item?

Cause LW do not get a buffed leg enchant, they just get the ability to craft it.

eRRRR wut?
6% haste with 100% uptime on a 2 min fight is a whole hell of alot less impactfull than 50% uptime on a 30% haste haste buff over 5 mins.

your ideas are old and antiquated. Blizzard understands we need this in 2021

Id think with restrictions a timer and to be done in a Capital City. The timer prevents someone from switching often in a short amount of time. 1 hour timer i think would do.

Why? The only reason ever seems to be that terrible healers and tanks are worried about losing a spot to someone that can switch.

LW allows for the crafting of epic gear in addition to the drums.

So you’ll add a mechanic from another expansion to limit a leather working but when you limited blacksmithing one handers to main hander it was “because thats how it was on a earlier patch”. What are you doing? Why are you forcing us to play a curtain way? Let the players/guilds decide if they want to optimize this hard. You dont need to fix these issues, the players will.

TYSM for this change!

TBC raids are easy enough a buff to the content is always welcome.

Exactly. Players didn’t have to have drums in 2007. They certainly won’t need them in classic.

You don’t “need it” you “want it” also if we are quoting the blue posts vague meaning my interpretation of that line means “Try to replicate the gameplay experience of 2007 by making modifications where needed to combat playstyles of 2021”

The playstyle of 2021 WOULD tell people they need to constantly swap specs if dual-spec was an option something which was clearly not a thing in TBC. If anything dual-spec would be removed if people hadn’t been using it to swap specs per boss in original TBC but would in the hyper min-max meta society of 2021 Classic TBC.

Arena spec vs Pve spec vs Pve spec.

Now dungeon and raid need to be buffed for the 2021 player base.

There’s a handful of people who don’t want to play proper specs and are afraid that if dual spec exists they will have to play an actual healer, or dps.

Mind you any guild that was okay with bringing a 100% meme spec in classic, and tbc will do so with or without dual spec

Again, no one ever thought it was needed but it was too good to not pick up. And even blizzard agrees, its not just “metachasers”. Stop flaming meta chasers or being “tired” of them. People hating on playing the game efficiently and asking for changes that will benefit the community’s experience is inexcusable.

Internet is too toxic.

Their exclusives are by no means overpowered, and don’t need nerfs. For a ret paladin JC is completely worthless until the Sunwell BoP neck pattern, but it’s not that much better than the Aldor Shattered Sun pendant. Enchanting is equally bad for ret, arms, and tanks compared with Engineering bombs, which scale with raid buffs and Avenging Wrath. And while they are better, they aren’t by much except on a few fights (Tidewalker, Solarian). We’re talking 1% differences. They’ve already nerfed JC/Enchant require the skill, too, so really you can play what profs you want now.
