Best Warcraft universe character that was introduced after World of Warcraft launched?

Denathrius, Wrathion, maybe Bwonsamdi
I don’t think an old guy can bring any good plot.

Despite the wonky busted jailer story, I liked shadowlands, especially the Jiro.
Does that count? They are simply the best race of all because they know how to have fun and also know when to take things serious. I just like their vibe, their spirit, their gloss, they are on fleek, and they don’t wear shoes or legs.
Man, the zones of Shadowlands almost make up for them dropping the ball so hard on the story lol. Their beauty and overall design were just simply amazing.

But the Jiro. Jiro for eternity.

Bwonsamdi and Sire Denathrius for sure.

Add Taran Zhu to the list of contenders. Criminally underused ever since MoP ended.

From your list, though? Bwonsamdi for sure.

Chromie. I love all things gnome and bronze Dragonflight and she embodies both.

There is only 1 npc that is a “G” and stands to be recognized… and that’s G Newt & Chromie

The cutscene where he fights Garrosh was so cool, it actually was the tipping point for me trying a monk lol

Garrosh easy.

Actually had a full character development. And despite getting butchered in MOP, his ending in Shadowlands was about as ideal as you can get. The dude truly did what he thought was right and was a true Warchief.

From your list it was Garrosh, never will be forgotten, and when the game ends people will still be talking about him

Even if blizzard ruined his character by making the villain in mop a scapegoat for their nonsense narrative of peace, he was the best warchief the horde had, and horde had its best moments with him in wrath and Cata(and even some in MOP as well).

Loved by some, hated by others, such a feat is hard to archive

Did people just forget the whole “corrupted by an Old God” thing? Or do they just choose to overlook it because reasons?

You edited the part out where I said he was butchered in MOP. To be clear, the narrative surrounding Garrosh in MOP ruined a great character. They literally killed him off to make room for Sylvanas – there was a poll on these forums that asked who would be a great Horde Warchief in the Cata days.

omg no not anduin hes been a wimp or a pain in the butt forever, as a older player he to me is like a spoilt little kid remember pandaria, should have thrall up there!

Not sure what was ruined about him. He was always weak, deep down, and was easy prey for the corrupting influence of the Old Gods.

It’s canon that “our Garrosh is the worst Garrosh” – other timelines with Garrosh showed him to be an extremely effective leader.

According to Anachronos, the prime universe Garrosh is one of the darkest and most twisted versions of him. In most other timelines he ended up becoming the Horde’s greatest leader and a true hero to his people.

No one, because Rexxar is just the best of the best of everything.

In all seriousness… was Saurfang in the original RTS? I’ll admit I didn’t play them a ton.
Runner up is Gamon

We stan Budd in this household

My character - clearly.

Garrosh. Specifically Stonetalon Mountain Garrosh. Shame Blizzard decided to retcon the living hell out of him.

Other than that I’d say Bwonsamdi was a stroke of genius, and his VA is amazing.
Lillian Voss is pretty good.
I’ve never been on the Alli side of things, so I couldn’t really say for them, but most all of the humans are incredibly boring IMO.

Varian Wrynn for sure. He carried the Alliance on his shoulders, both figuratively and literally.
