No, you seem to be confusing what I am saying. I will attempt to tone it down for you;
The aforementioned poster has made negative comments about the Ren’dorei in the past. Fact.
The aforementioned poster singled out another player who mentioned that they were delighted by the idea of further lore expansion on the race. Fact.
The aforementioned poster than inserted a meme GIF of a laughing man. Fact.
Ergo, one can surmise the intention behind the post itself. I am not attempting to read minds or predict future involvements, I am simply using the data I have to come to a logical conclusion of both events and intention.
If you still require aid to understand me, please ask. I will do my best to further explain how my theoretical deduction works.
… ofc it expanded on the lore of the Draenei, it was the expansion where they were released. C’mon.
No, it wasn’t enough. I’ve been here long enough to assure you that Draenei being a forgotten race was quite a common (and reasonable) complaint.
With WoD and Legion, people now seem to be fed up with them lol
The difference is that you believe Void Elves will have their lore expanded and I don’t. They weren’t even in the spotlight in BFA, the VOID expansion featuring their release. That’s why I laughed, because I find it funny ppl still believe in Blizzard after so many years of disappointment after disappointment.
Yes, I understand your intention. Your disbelieve that others find the idea of racial lore expansion an exciting prospect has been well documented.
Why you resorted to mockery instead of merely stating a disinterest in Blizzard’s (in)ability to expand on the lore is the actual question I am curious about.
When one posts a GIF of a laughing man at another individual who explained that they were interested in the expansion of Ren’dorei racial lore, you leave little room for logical interpretation of your actions.
If it was not your intention to create a toxic environment in which to discuss the topic, nor was it a hidden insecurity on your part, I have little else to base my theory on. Why bother posting such an immature response if you had respect for yourself and the others in this conversation?
You are not familiar with the word, mockery, I assume? Please correct me if I am wrong.
When someone laughs at something you say and it was not a joke, a humours play on words, or even an insinuation of insincerity, you are preforming what we call a “mocking response”.
They pump out lore and content patch by patch and via books. Void Elves have a future. Just like literally every other race in the entire game has been expanded. Blizzard has a future for the Void Elves. They were released in the prepatch for BFA and we’ve learned so much from them this expansion. We’re going to get more.
I mean if you mean by lore, story in this sense, because the Void Elves are just ex Blood Elves and we can’t expand their history, then yes there will be more to come.
I guarantee we will see a cutscene in Silvermoon again, and maybe Alleria and the Void Elves show up with Rommath. We’ll see. Blizzard is focusing too much on story IMO so it’s bound to happen. If you love Lore, this is a great age to play WoW, as Bellular states.
You misunderstand, my friend. That statement was directed towards another individual and was specifically written to counter what they said. Taking it out of context here has nothing to do with my own personal views on the subject and only confuses the issue.
I am Canadian and did study French as the official second language of the nation, though I readily admit that I do not possess more than a passing familiarity. Enough to get by when I visit Montreal.
I like destruction warlock because I can drain life without problems as long as no knockback or stun. You can unleash your hammer spells while getting hit with no slowdown.
Void elf pushback racial is super minor at best, at Cata, every caster get pushback protection like 80-90% before absorption, they also put a cap on the amount of pushback every caster could get.
Play Void Elves if you want the port abilities, the pushback protection is a bait.
