Idk what big picture you are trying to get at. Everything you’re complaining about it hasn’t been any different from the past. I don’t think it’s the game that is bad… I think people are just looking for a different kind of game. WoW is still the WoW it has been all these years… You still gotta grind just like you always have. It hasn’t changed that much. If anything the grind use to be even longer
enjoy your game, not everyone likes the same stuff. if you enjoy it, then you are their target customer. neither of us are wrong.

Thats good. I think people dont understand that despite many dislike it there are people who still enjoy it and thatd totally fine.
i don’t. first i’m unsubbed. secondly, i have paid for the game with tokens since they came out. bought this x-pac with tokens, and will buy the next one with b-net balance. i haven’t paid a dime on this game in 4 years.

they did, you do not have to have a subscription.

It appears to have changed. I’ve noticed quite a few mentioning that they can post without an active sub. I forget if there are certain caveats, eg they need to have a character above Level 20 or some such.
i have $200 b-net balance, 9 game play tokens, and over ½ million in gold. i could play for free for quite a while, but not this junk. so it’s so bad, i’m not even playing for free.
so let me get this straight… You are unsubbed and yet you are hating on this patch? So you are hating on something you haven’t even played?
Do you play classic at all? Or moved off to other games. (Not judging at all, genuinely curious. I don’t like seeing vet wow-gamers leave but I can’t blame ‘em either!)
my game time just recently expired, and i see no reason to waste them on this patch. unfortunately SL doesn’t sound much better, but i will give it a try.
you can’t give an opinion on something you haven’t played regardless. your opinion is irrelevant at this point
yeah, i played about 3 weeks. i enjoyed vanilla so immensely that it just wasn’t the same. it’s hard to go back. if they bring out BC, and wrath servers, i might try again.

I tried it, still play off and on, but haven’t leveled anything really. Just enjoy the ambience and “small fish big pond” feeling.
Hope you find a good game to sink your teeth into. I know when I’ve been “adrift on the seas of what-to-play” it feels meh.
classic is good but i have hard dedicating myself to thingd I’ve done for a period of time
i know what you mean. i’ll probably sink or swim with WoW. this is the only game i’ve played for the last 15 years. maybe a extended break will help. i’m hoping SL will not be the train wreck this has been.
I’ve been having fun “rp’ing” classic as what Fairlight was ~10/12 years ago. So it feels a bit more “combined”. That, plus I started well into BC (spring ‘08).
