#3 under bonuses is a lie. You can go to Pagle or Westfall for half an hour and see that it’s just as bad, if not worse.
He right tho about alliance being better for solo BGing. You won’t win AV, but you should have a higher win % in wsg/ab. AV is also not so bad for honor, if you go in, kill LTs, kill Gal, burn as many towers as you can and don’t expect to win. I know that’s a defeatist attitude, but until Blizzard makes changes to the map, or patch in a different version, you’ll have to deal with having a 5% chance of winning AV.
Or stay horde and eat the 2+ hour queues. It helps to put WoW on a second monitor in window mode and play something else.
