Best Place to Find Rings?

For some reason, finding an epic ring to upgrade my 325 blue is tougher than I thought. Where’s the best place to find an upgrade?

Any JC c an help you with that but you will need to farm most mats plus tip for the bop materials. Otherwise I suggest checking dungeon journals see which ones offer you rings and run those.

I think I got mine from a World Boss, or something.

That is one of the easiest ways, I think the 355 was the Arathi Boss thing. You get near it, hit the button for find group, then go for it. Sometimes I’ve got lucky and walked up and people are already fighting the World Boss.

Otherwise, they don’t drop from the content like warfronts or the emissary that rewards a 370; For some reason Rings and Trinkets are left out.

I also got a Trinket upgrade from a World Boss, if I recall.

Other than that, bother to do the ring WQ when you see them. They could always warforge/titanforge. Early on, I had a regular 325 trinket WQ titanforge to 350, which was nice.

Pvp, Mythic+0 or LFR if you get lucky drop.

Thanks! I’ve been keeping an eye out for that Arathi World Boss, but I never see it. How often does it spawn?

You can look at my profile to see that I feel your pain. I’m sporting 370+ in everything except trinkets and rings…and the latter two are are still only blue-quality (325 and 330). Nobody wants a healer in mythic dungeons that is only gear level 365…but it’s only in mythics that it seems epic rings will drop.

I’ll give that a try then. I know some decent rings can drop from Mythic Waycrest, and my guild loves to run M+0, so maybe I’ll spend some time grinding that instance out until one drops. Out of curiosity, what level drops from Heroics?

They really need to add all the rings and trinkets that drop from world quests into the loot table for warfronts

Agreed. I’d participate more in those if I could get a better variety of items.

Every kiss begins with k! Jk rings drop like grey items in pvp. Like every day I get 5-10 rings from pvp.

Misty Mountains has a pretty rare drop.

Heroic dungeons drop 325 level gear…0+ mythics drop 340. World bosses drop 355, and warfront bosses drop 370…but of course, those bosses are only one try a week (or less for warfronts).

Currently, I’m trying to save up 300 warfront service medals, to buy a ilvl 395 ring.

That true rings and trinket are hard drops. Took a month to get mine. Except for one ring that was better than the 355 one I got.
